  The two best things about this small hotel was the owner Ettore and the location. Ettore couldn't have been more helpful.I have never experienced any staff member at any place I have ever stayed who was more welcoming. We certainly didn't need to refer to any guide books while we were in his hotel. he was genuinly interested in how our day went and and did all he - Ettore was a wonderful and thoughtful host that made our stay very enjoyable. He was tremendously helpful in answering any of our questions. He offered a great overview of things to see and do not only in Sorrento but on the Amalfi Coast. He was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to suggest some great restaurants. The B&B was in an excellent location (in old town) - walking distance to the ferry terminal, train station, shopping and restaurants. The accomodations were comfortabl

  This is a beautiful old hotel high atop the Amalfi coast. The views are stunning and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of Amalfi. The hotel is clean and kind of a throwback to older times. We were there on the off season where it was quite empty, which was kind of spooky, but all in all a great place to stay.   Certe Notti was an excellent place to stay in Pompei. It was a short walk to the archeological ruins and goes past the Santuario della Beatta Vergine del Rosario. Excellent location. They picked us up from the train station. The room was clean and comfortable with an amazing view of mountains and overlooked a grove of oranges and lemons. Great position in walking distance to everything (archeological site of Pompei, train station, central square, shopping street, restaurants and a minimarket just at the other side of the road). Salvatore, the owner, is such a friendly guy. He is very helpfull and will point you in the right directions you need to go to. The day of the arrival you fill in the breakfast form and Salvatore will bring you the breakfast that you choose on the terrace on the roof. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk to Antacapri and the bus stop. The breakfast bar was well stocked with lots of options. We opted to eat in the dining room instead of our terrace because you have a panoramic view of the coast. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was very comfortable. We were surprised to get such a nice room for the money.
