  Our trip to Zagara Hotel was lovely, the staff very friendly , the position of the Hotel was wonderful, the view of the sea was perfect...5 mins walk to Canneto beach...very clean & safe....not too busy also. - Comfy rooms !

  Blu is situated about 1km from the port of Vulcano. The staff speak English and they were only to happy to send the shuttle bus to collect us and our luggage. The Hotel is actually a large collection of spacious, full equipped apartments, ie cooker, utensils etc. The bathroom was spotless as was the rest of the apartment. The pool area was a very ... wat mensen zeggen » short walk from our apartment, with an infinity pool over looking the sea and the smoking Sulphar volcano in the back ground. Here you will find seati - The pool area was great with a stunning view over the bay. The snack bar served excellent salads and paninis for lunch. The accommodation was spartan but clean and comfortable and well-designed so that you stay cool even at the hottest part of the day. The staff were very helpful and considerate and the shuttle bus down to the town is a great benefit. Ring or e-mail ahead and they will pick you up from the ferry when you arrive.

  I loved the location of the hotel and the views from the breakfast terraces facing the islands of Baziluzzo and Stromboli. I loved the decoration, so charming and elegant and tasteful. I liked how everything was taken care of, the trees and plants, the public toilet. I liked the art in the dining area, the Sicilian ceramics in the living area, the director's chairs on the terraces with spotl - Fantastically accomodating staff, exceptionally beautiful scenery and perfectly finished hotel. The photos didn't do the place justice at all. On entering our room, the view of the sea, greenery, sunshine and the sound of crashing waves was breathtaking! Our room was not typical of 5* luxuary but had been thoughtfully furnished with a nice firm mattress superking unlike a lot of other hotels. The outdoor breakfast was fantastcally accommodating with a very relaxed attitude towards time. The

  Overall we had a nice 5 day's stay at the hotel. The Island is still pretty and unspoilt and there are some small rocky beaches. Positive is the friendly staff and serving a good breakfast.
