Location and the view. Semi-private terrace. We were helped with our bags. hotel is very clean with friendly staff. Great access to beach - five min walk. Hotel is quiet, set apart with access to wi-fi and has comfy beds. Adequate storage space in room, lift. Good bath towels. Curtains effectively make room very dark at night helping a good sleep.

On our touring trip, Portonovo was the jewel of the Adriatic coast . Picturesque, unspoilt and very quiet (at the beginning of May at least). The hotel has a superb view over the surrounding bay and tree lined hillsides, Comfort,spacious sea view room.The continental breakfast was adequate but nothing special.

The hotel was only a short walk from the beach. The staff was very friendly and I although I love staying in design hotels, I have to say I really liked the classic atmosphere of Excelsior La Fonte. They also had a lot of info on (cultural) activities in the area. -

My room was wide, quiet and confortable. Furniture was functional and cleaning of room and bathroom accurate. The receptionist was gentle and willing to help. breakfast was available in a cozy and elegant room. I found breakfast good according to Italian standards, with homemade pies and cakes, but I have to point out that I like Italian breakfast

Lovely staff, spotlessly clean, very new & modern but in keeping with old town surroundings, 'real' Italy off the tourist routes - we stayed as a stop gap travelling from Mattinata to Venice, breakfast was outstanding for choice given I think we were the only residents that night.

net open, keurig verzorgde kamers met airco alhoewel onze kamer alleen een deur had en geen verdere ruiten zodat doorluchten minder makkelijk ging, maar de kamer heeft wel een hoog plafond wat ruimtelijkheid gaf.
Zeer vriendelijke verzorging door de aanbieders, lekker ontbijt. Lokatie is prachtig, oprit ook en als er een zwembad bijkomt is het helemaal af.
