  This is the second time I've stayed at Casa di Alfredo and I can never believe that this place is considered a hostel and not a hotel! It is impeccably clean, and beautifully furnished. It is situated in a historic building, with frescoed ceilings and big bright windows. The staff is incredibly friendly (disclaimer: I speak Italian, but they proba... wat mensen zeggen » bly speak English too) and provide a homemade breakfast every morning that is to die for!! Seriously, the breakfast is what brought me back. It is own - Location, clean, lovely room with high double doors to pretty garden, nice breakfast in friendly arrangement. Good value.

Мы остались очен - Owner / staff was friendly and accommodating. He lives off-site so be certain to notify him of your arrival time. The accommodations are basic and budget oriented. The room was sparse of decorations; but clean, neat and livable. It is an easy 20 minute walk downhill from the central train station with luggage. Plan for the uphill return trip if you don't take luggage. And it is within easy walk of the old city. We concluded that this is an excellent value for money and will likely stay here aga

  The apartment that we had had two double rooms, a shared bathroom (with shower rather than bath) and a well fitted kitchen/diner. The diner had a gas hob, oven, fridge/freezer and a washing machine - all of high quality. A well located, well equipped and well looked after apar - We enjoyed everything at the apartment, the view was amazing and the apartment was well equipped and very clean. We were welcomed by Roberta, a colleague to Ennio, who was SO nice and wonderful. She had stayed up way after midnight to let us in, and she was so kind a funny to talk to. The steps up to the place is of course hard, but what do you expect when renting a place on 4th floor – just enjoy the old building!   This is a very nice, very modern apartment. The land lady lives on the floor above and was very helpful. The apartment is on the second floor and shares the floor with a lawyer's office. It is one block from the bus stop from Florence and a 10 minute walk from the Campo and a very nice grocery store.
