  Giovanni was wonderful - friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. She was able to suggest local restaurants (which were excellent), looked into reservations at the Borghese Gallery for us, provided an excellent map of the city (which Rome's tourist info at the train station would not give us unless we purchased the Roma pass), and overall ... wat mensen zeggen » provided lots of very helpful information. Our room looked directly toward the Tiber and was perfectly situated for exploring Rome. - Very good place. The location is one of the main advantages: close to Spanish steps and Vatican, but the street is very quiet, so that you can easily sleep with open windows. The room is rather comfortable with a very clean and well-designed bathroom. The owner of the b&b is a wonderfull lady, she was helping and taking care of us all the time!

  Francesco the owner made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived and he was a wonderful host for the duration of my stay in Rome. The location of Baldassini is perfect. It is so central that most things are within very easy walking distance, and it's always such a pleasure to walk the streets of this beautiful city. The street was qu - I was a bit nervous booking this because there weren't many reviews, but it far exceeded our expectations! Breakfast was the best, complete with scrambled eggs and fried bacon along with the normal Italian breakfast staples. The owners are wonderful hosts and had amazing recommendations for dinner. Definitely go to the restaurant on the corner, it was a favorite of our entire trip! Location was fantastic and being such a short walk from the pantheon , we were able to have our last dinner in Ita

  I can't say enough about Nadia who was so helpful and attentive to our every need. Nothing was too much trouble for either Nadia or her colleague Maria and there was a mobile phone in the room which we could take with us if we had any questions, needs or if we got lost, which we did a lot although we did find our way eventually without having to c... wat mensen zeggen » all Nadia. I would highly recommend this hotel for the staff and location alone but it ticks all the boxes. It's not a flash 5 star hotel but its perf - The location was great and once you get your bearings and how the streets are signposted, it was easy to get around. The staff were great and very helpful. A big thanks to Nadia and Maria who helped with last minute tour issues via email. Breakfast was good and expresso did the trick first thing in the morning. Rooms were comfortable and clean and all we expected. It was close to the bus drop off from airport so no need for finding taxis.

  The whole place is pretty much run by one person, Rodel. He was extremely accommodating and helpful. He made our stay very enjoyable. It was great to have breakfast each morning, and Rodel was sure to remember our preferred coffee orders. The place was very clean. The pictures are not deceiving, the place looks very much like the pictures. From Spanish steps to Vatican, and even to Colloseum, you can walk to all from here.
