  The hotel is just beautiful. It's a three hundred year old Palazzo that has been meticulously restored, with great attention to detail and luxury. Our room was quite outstanding - extremely " high tech" ( comment from our 21 year old who was very impressed!) combined with traditional, lavish furnishings - drapes, pelmets, wallpaper, furniture ; if... wat mensen zeggen » you are into design and interior decorating, this is the place! We felt very welcomed and " at home" in beautiful surroundings. The staff were incred - This hotel was our favorite from all of our hotels this trip. The location was perfect for walking everywhere and easy access from the water taxi at Rialto bridge....just remember to turn at the Disney store and you'll always find it! We did eat in the restaurant one night and it was very good. Our waiter was excellent and I'm pretty sure he is the only Italian waiter to have smiled at us our whole trip (no joke!) We also had a couples massage one evening. Though I would not say it is a "spa"

  All that really matters is excellent: location, pleasant and competent staff, facilities, cleanliness. Breakfast was very good, but it`s main selling point is the terrace in which it is served - on top of the rooftop above the Grand Cannal with the most magnificent view.   Wij verbleven hier tijdens de eerste nachten van onze huwelijksreis en we moeten een upgrade hebben gekregen, want we hadden een gigantische kamer. Wij vinden voor €135 per nacht midden in het centrum van Venetië zitten een koopje en je zit echt in het centrum en loopt zo de heerlijke straatjes in.   The hotel made us feel welcome even before we arrived by sending us an email giving us directions and general information. Once we did arrive the staff were very polite and friendly and we were pleased to find the the hotel was ideally located close to St Mark's Square, Rialto Bridge and Academy. Our room was gorgeous - very spacey and with a sp... wat mensen zeggen » a bath. There was also lots of room to store our belongings. Ca'Fortuny is also very close to several restaurants and shops - an ideal location! - Breakfast was very nicely tended and the staff was amazingly courteous at all times of the day (even late night). The location is fantastic (5 minutes from Rialto bridge and 7 minutes to Piazzo San Marco). There is plenty of shopping and eats in the area. Rooms are very spacious and the bathrooms are newly renovated and very clean.

  What's not to like about a luxury yacht moored close to Venice with its own free water taxi to get you back after the water buses stop running. despite misgivings about the yacht being moored on another island it was very easy to get to Venice and back with a ten minute water bus ride. Would recommend this for a different and special experience. -... wat mensen zeggen » The simple fact that it was an yacht. You slept in one of the cabins, could enjoy the sun in the deck, and so on. If you by any chance wanted to have dinner in Venice you didn't have to call a water taxi (the last bus is at 8pm) - they have a free transfer service to the yacht.
