  The design of Hotel Metropolis was very cool--modern, clean, chic. I absolutely loved the decor in our room and throughout the hotel. Our room was a good size for two people--just enough space--and the bathroom was very modern and clean (something that can be a rarity in other Italian hotels). The breakfast was great--l - Close to Vatican/St. Peter's, Piazza del Popolo, Spanish Steps, Castel Sant Angelo. Great shopping and restaurants in the surrounding Prati neighborhood. The Lepanto a metro stop is just a few blocks away, so seeing the rest of Rome is easy and getting to the Termini train station is very convenient.   The Owner is an interesting lady who keeps the place in a perfect way. Room are spacious with a large bathroom. The guest house is on the 3th floor of a old nice building. It is really nice and you will have the feeling to be in house more than a Hotel. It is safe and well located.   The staff are by far the biggest asset in this hotel. We were greeted by Raphaella who could not have been more helpful throughout our stay. On one night we had an issue getting our mobile to work which given we had left our two small children with their grand parents was an issue. Located very close to the Vatican and right in the middle of two metro stations ( - We stayed 3 nights at Fabio Massimo and really enjoyed our stay there. The staff were really friendly and since there were only about 9 rooms (I think) the level of service was exceptional. Breakfast was good and the hotel was really close to some good restaurants. Me and my girlfriend were there on Valentines Day and I asked the receptionist to do something with my bedroom while we were away, he arranged for a bouquet of roses and rose petals on the bed with Champagne glasses (which I had aske

  We wanted a place close enough to the Vatican City, metro and bus stop so we can eat breakfast in the morning and not come back until we were done enjoying Rome for the day. This is just what we wanted. Nice place, no luxuries but with great staff and outstanding service. Fresh espresso/capucino in the morning with continental breakfast.
