  First and foremost, the location was incredible. When we first got there, we spent five minutes finding the place despite being in the supposed location. However, this was solely because we couldn't imagine a place for this price to be on the Piazza de Republica!! The street is busy and sometimes a little noisy (people, not cars) but it does not disturb you that much - you just feel yourself a part of a big tourist crowd:) We stayed in a room for 4 people.   First of all, the location couldn't be better. It is located about 2 blocks south of the Duomo, and 2 blocks north of Ponte Vecchio bridge and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted. There are city buses, and unbelieveably one of them comes right down the narrow street with a stop right in front of the B&B, so coming from the train statio... wat mensen zeggen » n with suitcases was no problem (1.5 euro bus ticket). The staff was excellent, and helpful in suggesting sights not to miss and how to get to them - Bruno showed us the most wonderful hospitality, we had a fantastic stay with him in Florence! He helped us book a lovely restaurant and was endlessly helpful with where to go and what to see in his home town. The B&B is his home and is run with warmth & love. The rooms are clean, comfortable & simple. There are tea and coffee facilities available at all times and a little mini bar for your use. Location is wonderful, right in the heart, near the Duomo but not at all noisy. Recommen

The warm and friendly welcomming together with the fine atmosphere make this villa a really nice and relaxed landmark within a beautiful but buisy town.
