  Excellent value for money and close enough to centre to walk; 15/20 minutes. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Parking can be a problem but after the first night we were given a space in the hotel garage round the corner. Best if you have a small car. Our room 414 was spacious enough for 3 nights with a balcony and a very modern bathroom.... wat mensen zeggen » All very clean. Free Wi-fi which always worked really well. Also found 3 very good reasonably priced local restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Breakfa - It was very nice and confortable, the rooms were modern and had every facility, breakfat was really good. They rent bikes so you can visit the city faster! But anyway, its just a 10 minute walk away from the Duomo, which I think is the main attraction, the hotel is close to a supermarket and different shops, cafes and restaurants, I really enjoyed my stay, the staff is pretty kind and helped me with everything i needed.Totally recommended!

  Very friendly and helpful staff, we left our bagage after check-out for all the day. Excellent location in downtown and price! Only 20-30 minuts by walk from main trainstation ( I think we don't needed couch bus 14, when we arrived, it was crawded in evening) Thats small short street situated just between Via dell'Anguillara and Borgo de' Greci (... wat mensen zeggen » its join this two streets near piazza Santa Croce) Anywhere, hotel staff give you quitegood map after your arriving. - Very nice staff. Clean room, spotless bathroom and a nice atmosphere over all. I can recommend it to anyone. We went in February though, where prices are as high as in the summer...

But as far as I understood 2-star hotels in Florence are not that far from 4-star hotels in other cities. Besides the price was very moderate in comparison with hotels in other famous cities. Near the hotel some shops (for it was better than empty trip to outlet near Florence), trattorias, and Coop supermarket.

  The staff members were very helpful and speak good English. Before we even asked they offered us a city map and a list of opening hours of all museums/galleries. It's apparently a family run hotel and the owners're proud of their town. Great location, we could see the Medici Chapel from our window. The noise from the street wouldn't be a problem as the rooms feature three layers of windows, each of them double glazed, very impressive insulatio - Excellent location as it was a 5-10 minute walk to the train station and a nice walking distance to all major attractions. We asked for a room facing the courtyard/cathedral during booking after seeing a review on letsbookhotel.com, and the hotel gave us a room on the top most floor with the best possible view :) Air conditioned room with soundproof windows. Breakfast is definitely worth the money for 5 euros per person. Laundromat and mini supermarket on same street. Good strong wifi.
