The area looks dodgy at first, but it's just around the corner of the residential area with shop and restaurants.   Giulia, the lady who runs the place is very warm and friendly and willing to help with booking anything to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are lovely, with that little B and B charm. The wi-fi was good (once we got it to work in our room which didn't take long). There's a nice little courtyard you can sit in (not that we got to in 3 days of n... wat mensen zeggen » on-stop rain). Also a nice little room with tea/coffee and biscuits etc if you need an afternoon pick me up. Breakfast is at a coffee bar not far away - Helpfull and very polite staff, nice and well equipped renovated appartament with provided daily cleaning, small shared kitchen with non-stop coffe availability (without any charges), terrace for smokers ... good location within walk distance to the city centre (10-15 mins.), possibility to park the car in the nearby garage for reasonable fee (20,- EUR/day)

  The owner Carlo is amazing. He had a wealth of information about Florence and the surrounding areas. He was also very nice, and helpful. We were told about all the hotspots as well as recommended restaurants in the vicinity of those sights. The B&B is also very clean, and quiet. It is also very close to the metro Firenze smn. The value for the price is ideal. - The hotel has recently been taken over and the owners are both friendly and ambitious to make improvements where possible. The room is large and after spending a day in bed sick, I can tell you how comfortable the bed is! Breakfast was small and simple but I do believe this is one of the changes to be made. We were within 10 minutes walk of the Duomo and downstairs is a fab coffee shop and one of the best kebab shops I've ever eaten at!
