The Golkonda Hotel Hyderabad - "Complete Relaxation" I am staying in Hotel Golkonda since July 2009 and planned to stay here for till Oct 2009. I am here in Hyderabad for an Office Project. I travel a lot in India and within Hyderabad I stayed in 3 other hotels also. I got best price deal for 2 to 3 months stay and really thank the manager Mr.Reddy for this. It is very relaxing experience after a long day work. As you enter the hotel you can tell this is luxury at its best. The staff - Clare


We stayed at the Hotel Golkonda in January this year. The accommodation is nice with modern rooms and bathrooms. The facilities are good, the restaurants are excellent and the service is outstanding. We arrived early morning and were a bit disconcerted to be woken several times by knocks at the door and the telephone ringing. When we finally answered it was because the hotel wanted to deliver a huge cake for my birthday. We travel a lot for work and although this hotel is only rated as a 4*, t - John


I had stayed at this hotel ages ago and when I revisited the hotel it has been renovated to what it is now - impressed with the change. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The food is decent and one of the resturant's on the ground floor has scantily dressed women trying to sing. Can be annoying but I guess its an attraction for many and fun too! :) I have also used their banquet hall for my official event. The hall was prepared as requested and the staff on duty were prompt with - John

The Golkonda Hyderabad is the 'gateway hotel' to the city, being just 40 minutes away, the closest city hotel from the new international airport. We are located at the foothills of Banjara Hills and minutes away from the Jubilee Hills. Hi-Tech City and Madhapur is just a 20-minute drive. The shopping mall is within walking distance, and temples, churches, mosques and all commercial and tourist attractions are well within a 15-minute drive. The famed Golkonda Fort, Charminar and Hussain Sagar Lake are all close by. Your visit to this historic city is incomplete if you don't buy pearls for your family and friends. Either you can buy from the in-house shop or the close by Punjagutta Jewellers.

Travelling information

The new international airport is 27.2 km away or a 40-minutes drive. The travel desk in the lobby will assist you for all your travel needs.

Secunderabad railway station is 7 km away whereas Hyderabad railway station is 3 km away.
