great hotel for beach pool and views

To make it brief, I decided to propose to my GF (now my wife of course) during our trip to Greece in Sep'13, and the minute I booked Mykonos Bay Hotel online, they sent an email within 10 min, asking about my arrival information and assured will pick me up from the port, which at then, it was only July'13, but the quick and warm response made me felt.. "This is the place" already. Soon afterwards, I wrote am email asking about whether if they could assist me with my proposal, and out of expectations, they were eagerly passionate and willing to help "Free Of Charge"! I mean, the hotel and I came up with a surprise beginning with my birthday celebration (the day we checked in Mykonos Bay Hotel also happens to be my birthday), by ensuring the sunset time of the day, reserved the perfect table next to the pool and close to the beach, a wonderful home baked birthday cake in advance, staffs that will approach to sang birthday song and video recording while I make my "Birthday Wish" (the proposal of course). When the day really came after I checked in....they did everything amazing (exact sunset timing serving meals), and although I insisted to pay for the services they provided, but not even the cake have they charged me (gives me no choice but to leave plenty tip in the room everyday when I go out as a repayment of their service) . Throughout the whole time, all of the discussions and advice seeking all took place via email, the quick and warm attitude of the hotel staff is just beyond words! Furthermore, the moment when we arrived at the hotel, unlike many hotels I've stayed around the world, which simply check your ID and then give you the room key, the first thing they did was to serve you a welcome drink, and then took out a map, showing you what you can do, where to go, and how they can help if needed, then they took you to your room.

this hotel has very beautiful beach, the staff are very nice. Most importantly, this hotel provide free transfer service to the port and airport

The location was perfect. A short 10 mintue srtoll to the edge of the city. The breakfast was fanastic and very traditional. But the best of all was the view! Just waking up and looking out the front window each day was enough to make anyone relax.

The staff were wonderful, very helpful and answered all questions with a smile. The location was great. Swimming pool was very cold but setting at beach was great. Breakfast was excellent.

bathrooms old and the shower very poor.For this quality and price a decent walk in shower would have been much better than and old shower over a very small bath

Location right on the beach is fantastic. Great pool area, particularly for kids Really traditional and quaint Greek building style. Far enough away from the city to be quiet and relaxing, yet close enough to walk in. Great value for money, particularly right after summer season. Unparalleled breakfast

Pool bar prices were far too high and the reason for not visiting and the bar being consistently deserted and the taverna along the beach consistently busyThe owners have really shown a bad business sense here

I liked everything about this hotel - the beautiful beach, the lovely grounds, the rooms, the decor of the spacious lobby and courtyard, the staff and an amazing buffet breakfast

If you have not stayed at this hotel, you have missed something inlife! :-) I travel a lot around the world for work and we do travel a bit for pleasure as well! No where else have I seen this level of hospitality and personal care! They were OUTSTANDING in all possible ways! The hotel is beautifully located on the Megali Ammos Beach, just a 10 minute walk from the Town Center. Undoubtedly, this is the best place to stay in Mykonos in all aspects - Location, Comfort and Hospitality!

Staff is great. They go out of their way to make you feel good. They are open, kind and interested and will share their knowledge of the best dining ans beach spots on the island with you. Breakfast is great. Fresh food, bread and coffee. And they have a magnificant pool.

Beds are a bit small and hard.

We liked the fact that room was being cleaned several times per day, not only in the morning... STAFF extremely friendly, warm ambiance and 5 min walking distance from the city center, everything was waow!

All staff was very wellcoming, friendly helpfull and smiley, thank you to all. Location is very good, very close to centre and also have a wonderfull view. Housekeeper was fantastic , we always suprise to return to room, always clean and tidy. And foods was very delicious , and service person were very kind, friendly, helpfull. With one words, everything was great.

I liked the position of the hotel, close to the center but also very relaxed with a private beach in front of it. I liked the design of the hotel and the kind staff.

The toilets, not very in line with the premium price and the rest of the hotel. They should be renewed.

We stayed in the court view room and it was small, very small room. The toilet is minuscule. The bed/mattress was terrible, uncomfortable.

I loved Mykonos Bay Hotel. The staff was incredible ,especially Chrisoula at the front desk who was especially helpful in helping us get around and had wonderful restaurant recommendations. The hotel itself is beautiful!! We took gorgeous pictures.

We loved the location, the staff was really nice and the hotel is very beautiful. Breakfast is very good and the food too. We were 4 friends and would definately recomend it! They solve any need or question you have and its very close to town too. And they clean the room twice a day, perfect!

The hotel will give you a feel of your home. The hospitality is just perfect and equally good are their staff. Location is superb and the breakfast is also very good. Would definitely recommend this hotel to people.
