  The medieval aura that was surrounding the hotel was truly amazing. At the same time, the feel of luxury and hospitality was there throughout our stay, from the minor details in the room, up to the excellent service. Few points that really blew my mind…A spectacular home-made breakfast made by local stuff. Perfect dinner, both in taste and set up.... wat mensen zeggen » Last but not least, being a wine taster myself, I have to say that the wine list was the best and most complete I’ve seen in Greece. We definitely re - The Mani Peninsula is rural and beautiful and well away from the normal holiday locations. Citta dei Nicliani is an enchanting retreat run by one caring family who really do understand the meaning of making the stay memorable. Nothing is too much trouble and mother, father, son and daughter all speak very good english. Breakfast is unbelievably good - you'll surely take a photograph. Would we ever go back - you bet!   Small guesthouse in Kafiona which was just a small collection of houses on the main road. Very clean, comfortable and friendly. Only tavern was about 5 mins away by car but very good (TRIANDAFILIA). Really friendly people. The family also run the petrol station next door (Revoil) which was a handy landmark to find the guesthouse. It was very tasty and plentiful – in fact lunch was not n - Properly located in the middle of the East Mani peninsula, most of the region's highlights (Vatheia, Tenaro Cape, Kotronas, Areopoli, Limeni, Oitilo) are within short distance (by car). Excellent and rich breakfast prepared with local products. Friendly and welcoming local stuff (family owned). Easy parking. One of the best value for money you can find in the region.
