  The owners were very kind and spoke English. Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic! It was very modern and updated. Location was nice with an easy walk into town. We ate breakfast at the hotel and dinner one night at a lovely italian restaurant close to the hotel.   Very happy to have found this friendly, cozy, family-operated hotel. We stayed here for one night while driving north through the Black Forest. Even though I also speak German, I was able to communicate with the staff in English. Also had a great conversation with some of the locals over a glass or two of the famous Alpirsbacher Klosterbräu. The breakfast especially was well worth the extra 5 Euros. - location outside the town's limits, in view of the forest; quiet at night, recently refurbished rooms with proper showers, good restaurant, good breakfast buffet, they let us put our motorbikes in the garage
