  This is a fabulous hotel for a short or longer stay in Mannheim if you're not concerned about the fancy frills of an extensive breakfast menu, but want great comfort, cleanliness, service and convenience. The front desk staff are very friendly and most obliging; nothing is too much trouble.   The staff were brilliant and their English was superb, unlike our German! We stayed for dinner at the hotel twice of our four nights and it was excellent, we ate the same meal both nights! The service was also excellent. We also had breakfast one morning which was good and again the service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble.. Great to sit out here and have a beer. - I was alone after a business trip and it was everything I wanted and more. The service is tip top. They speak English and will help you with anything. The style is Ultra Modern - great for a luxury stay, though moderately priced. Location is great - it's a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 10 minute walk to the Alt Stadt.

  The Johanneshof is wonderful, rooms were very clean and of modern design. The breakfasts are amazing. The Johanneshof is also a strawberry farm and a restaurant. They sell their produce from a shopette on site. Their strawberries are AMAZING. I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant because it is so busy every day, that there are absolutel... wat mensen zeggen » y no seats available. I guess that probably means their food is good. Overall a very comfortable and peaceful stay. Prime choice for Hockenheimring - It was our second visit. We love everything, and would definitely visit again. The best part is, for sure, the restaurant they run. Highly recommended, especially in summer. The shop was also outstanding.
