  Charming and helpful hosts. Very comfortable room in lovely family house - very quiet too. Location excellent as within walking distance of centre and restaurants, and not far from the hospital where we had an appointment early the next morning. Parking was easy and nearby - essential as we had our dog with us!   Make sure you book a sea view room to take advantage of the great location. Our room was very clean had a huge and very comfortable bed, tea making facilities and fridge and of course that view of the boats coming and going. Staff always had a smile on their faces and were very helpful. We ate in the brasserie and the food was excellent. Unfortunately as we were waiting to check out, the young lady working on Reception was extremely rude - she purposely ignored us whilst she carried on counting till receipts and treated us with what appeared to be, contempt. Sadly this was our last contact with Le Roof and left us feeling very disappointed.

  I had a good sized, very clean and comfortable room which even had a little refrigerator. The location is excellent; I arrived by boat at the port and walked to the Place Gambetta. There is a bus direct from there to the Gare (number 7) and the hotel is just around the corner. The breakfast was superb as well.
