De gastheer, Alexandre, is ontzettend aardig, gastvrij, behulpzaam en zorgde iedere ochtend voor een lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt, wat we in alle rust konden opeten. This B&B is a delight for the senses and provides a smorgasboard of
aesthetically pleasing treasures. Alexander, who is the most hospitable
of hosts, has filled his house with beloved objets d’art, plants and
pictures of all kinds, which all combine to create a whimsical fantasy
world. The building dates back to the 14th century and has beautiful
stone floors, ornate ceilings and light streaming in from its floor-to-
ceiling windows overlooking the quiet cobblestoned streets of
Montpellier. -
The welcome from Alex is second to none. He not only recommended restaurants but made the reservations for us, gave us advice on what to see (down to which paintings in the art gallery!) and gave a warm, colourful and unforgettable dimension to our stay in Montpellier. Also the location is great, right in the heart of the old city. If you are after an experience that is more personal than staying at a hotel, I would recommend Chambre d'Autres.

This is a very peaceful and romantic guesthouse, very suitable for couples. The rooms are large and overlook a garden. The decor is basic but clean and comfortable. The morning birdsong is wonderful.
