  The décor and facilities were worthy of a 4* hotel, with air con; tea and coffee making facilities; hair dryer. The location was perfect - 10 minute stroll to the port; 15 minute stroll to the beach and the old town just round the corner. A one minute walk up the road took us to Place Garibaldi which was wall to wall restaurants with street perfor... wat mensen zeggen » mers - a vibrant place to be. But the real gem of Le Geneve was Corrine, the manageress. What a star, she went the extra 9 yards to make sure we had - The position is super, close to Place Garibaldi, old town and bus lines towards the places to visit on the east side of Nice (e.g. Eze, Monaco, Menton etc.). The room was nicely decorated (the bathroom as well) and with good facilities, like mini-fridge with drinks, coffee / tea making facilities, AC (though quite loud), bathroom accessories etc. The staff was friendly as well.
