  This is a lovely Chambre d'Hotes, in a beautifully restored old building around courtyards, decorated in French country style, and very chic. It is very close to the town centre and picturesque harbour, but is quiet and peaceful inside. The breakfasts are quirky and delicious - home-made cakes & chocolate mousse, as well as artisan breads, che... wat mensen zeggen » eses and home-made jams. The staff are friendly, very helpful, and available all day. The bedrooms were comfortable, warm, very pretty, with en suite - It was a wonderful and charming little hotel converted from an old girls school. The young couple there in the day spoke good English and were very helpful, and the woman around in the morning was very charming and helpful despite not speaking English. Breakfast was in the courtyard on a sunny morning. The room was charming and had wooden beams. A real fantastic place where we spent one night, centrally located next to the marina and an abundance of restaurants.

Return for a longer stay - We loved the location of the hotel which is in the country side but two minutes from the little town. The owners have a restaurant on site and make the most delicious meals with a varied menu. The owners are a charming couple who are ready to help you with suggestions of nearby sites. Honfleur is 15 minutes away and the most charming town not to be missed.

  We stayed two nights in this beautiful and historic building by the harbour. After a delicious French breakfast, we enjoyed stepping out onto the cobblestones to explore the city by foot. If you are Canadian and a history buff, you will delight in this port where French mariners, including Samuel De Champlain, departed for the New World.   We loved the setting and the design of the hotel, and we had an excellent dinner there. The staff were delightful and I was touched to find a little bottle of perfume on my pillow. It was convenient and restful.   This is a lovely hotel ideally situated on the outskirts of Honfleur overlooking the Seine estuary. I cannot praise it highly enough. Everything about it was perfect from the lovely room and breakfast to the superb restaurant.   The staff spoke excellent english. They were extremely helpful when booking in and also throughout my stay. A short walk to the centre of Honfleur made everything just perfect for a short break - The hotel was excellent. The location is great, about 5 minutes by foot from the center of the town. Lovely large, light and airy bedroom and ensuite. Huge, deep roll-top bath with lots of hot water. Chabby/chic style. Within close walking distance of the port, shops, restaurants, galleries and other attractions. I had a very nice time there and would recommend it to anyone.
