  gastvrij en behulpzaam, prima fietsen, goed sanitair, goed ontbijt - Arrived for a 1 night stay. greeted by Madam who was utterly charming. The Chateau was stunning and renovated to perfection. Our room was Gorgeous,with every need provided for,luxury linens, top class toiletries etc, this is a true 5 star experience. we met the owner after Dinne... wat mensen zeggen » r out who recommended a route thru the wine region d2, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delightful with Madam, who provided an array of home made preserves, yoghurt and delicious pastries. Our only regret was - This is a beautiful old French manor house set at the end of a long driveway in a French village. The grounds are fantastic and the lady of the house was very welcoming and showed us to an excellently refurbished room with a very nice en suite shower room. We walked into the local village and had a fantastic meal and a great bottle of wine at a reasonable price. Breakfast was served in a lovely elegant dining room. We would have no hesitation in recommending this excellent value for money p

  Friendly staff Location in the middle of Medoc - just down the road from Margaux - excellent for access to vineyards. Especially if you are on a bike. Not too far from Bordeaux. Chateau is charming. The libarary wonderful with comfortable sofas for working (hopefully not necessary, but was in our case) Good rooms, Reasonable price - As I travele... wat mensen zeggen » d with wine as objective, this hotel was a choice 100% correct. The chateau produces its own wine and so we have a vineyard to our feet. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. The breakfast is good and varied. The location is strategic, between Bordeaux and Saint Estephe, Margaux Area.
