  Very nice place. Doesn't have an elevator, but they help you up with the luggage, you won't even have to ask. Breakfast is served in a very nice room with fresh fruit and pastries, yoghurt, juice, hot drinks. Underground parking is nearby, but you can drive into the street where the house is located to unload the luggage. - The room was beautiful... wat mensen zeggen » , and the host was very helpful. The location was quite near the Palais de Papes (with its associated parking lot, useful when we rented a car.) I would definitely stay here again.

  We enjoyed our stay thoroughly - in a suite on the top floor with a beautiful terrace with a view of the Palace of the Popes, where we had our welcome champagne in the afternoon sun and watched the night lights over the palace after dinner. Fantastic atmosphere, oil canvas on the walls, antique furniture pieces - an experience of time travel. The foo - The staff were highly attentive, especially Fernando, who I believe was the manager. He made us feel very special given it was a birthday trip. Extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is beautiful and well located, walking distance to the shops and Pope's palace. The rooms are huge by European standards and well appointed. We will definitely stay here again.

  Excellent location in the center of Avignon, just off the Place D'Horloge. There are lots of good choices for meals nearby and the major attractions are a short walk. Our room was on the fourth floor (small elevator worked well). It was bright and airy with full length double-doors that opened onto a small balcony overlooking Rue de la republic. She spent so much time with me giving me travel tips, it made my trip so much more interesting. - Host is charming helpful and friendly. A lovely space to relax in. Outside festival time this is a very quite area of town - Lovely helpful staff in reception. Simple self service accommodation. Small kitchenette with kettle, coffee maker, electric hob, microwave and fridge. Warm (our visit was during cold weather). Comfy bed. Local shops for groceries and meals. If you want service (we didn't) then don't stay here. If you want a comfortable, clean, simple, base for exploring Avignon and its environs for a few days it's secure, convenient and good value.

Incredibly delicious and varied breakfast in pleasant interiors (optional - in the garden) and with magnificent views of the Palace of the Popes and the garden with apple trees, roses. I would also like to note the excellent work the reception, through w... wat mensen zeggen » hich our car was taken from the parking lot (left the car at the nearest public car park as afraid of very narrow streets) and saved me from having to - This was my second stay at La Mirande, and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The staff is exceptional and very willing to help in any way. We used Avignon as our base to travel all around Provence and felt we were returning to a quiet home estate at the end of each day. Beautiful surroundings and the melodic ringing of bells is simply perfection.

  I was very pleased by the friendly and helpful staff at this hotel. The location is ideal - in the old city within easy walking distance of the Tourist Bureau and many nice restaurants and cafés. But what most impressed me was how helpful they were when I had a sudden medical emergency which led to several days in the hospital. I would not hesitate wha - The hotel proprietor was helpful and knowledgeable and made a great restaurant recommendation. Well placed and parking right outside. Breakfast was good value and was a decent quality. Avignon is beautiful and we loved wandering the streets.
