  Everything. The staff were helpful and friendly. Sam in the Concierge team can speak English and was most helpful, even before our arrival in Hangzhou, by answering all our email queries about tours from Hangzhou to Huangshan (Yellow mountain). When we arrived at the hotel, Sam helped us secure bus tickets to Huangshan and train tickets to Shangha... wat mensen zeggen » i. In a country where English is not widely spoken, this is an invaluable service. We stayed in an Executive room which entitled us to use the Executi - The best hotel I stayed in China. Staff is very pleasent. Western options in the jw marriot menu, nice swimming pool. Dont have this weird smell that you feel sometimes due to chinese cuisine. Nice executive room and good options for western breakfast in the 16 floor. Internet in room.

This extended into every detail through the whole hotel, from lobby to hallways and rooms to a level you don't see very often in China, specially not in this price class. Bed was of superb quality. Break fast was nice with a good choice between Chinese and Western food. Also the food from room service was affordable and very tasty. Best thing was the spa, never had such a good massage anywhere in China.

  The location is very good! It is located right inside the old village which is another tourist hotspot and a lot of good, traditional Hangzhou food with varying price range around. The staffs are very friendly and the room is clean. It is around 15 mins walk to Xi Hu. I will definitely stay here again if I go Hangzhou again! No problem shopping for local souvenirs and eating local food. McDonalds is less than 100m away. Very near to bus stops. Travel between airport and this hotel can be done via public bus, thus very economical.
