The attached restaurant provided excellent food (fish meals, and steaks) with an price between 140 RMB (200 gram) up to 230 RMB (300 gram meat).
Extremely large rooms
Front desk personnel needs some training. I had booked for three additional guests and told them, I would pay for the rooms. While they were eager collecting the deposit they still asked the guests to pay for them. That was embarrassing. The complaint was answered with a common 'I am sorry'
I have stayed at these apartments several times over the years because I feel they are good value for money and the location is convenient for the business they do - there are some signs of age but the rooms are large and the beds comfortable. And generally quiet. I like seeing the daily life of the community around the hotel - the daily taichi of senior citizens, the communal exercise for staff of the store across the road. The staff at the restaurant are attentive and friendly - and after several Chinese meals on business I have to admit to just having a simple (though very large) club sandwich becomes almost a treat.
Nothing that I do not really dislike. The sex shop next door is apparent on arrival but most of my Chinese guests just accept it as a part of modern Chinese life! It is a small item in my overall assessment of the apartments.

Room was very large and had everything you could need, kitchenette, washing machine, full sized fridge etc also very close to the Sanlitun bar and restaurant area.

The bed was amazingly comfortable. EVen better than 5 star hotels we've stayed in before. There is a pub downstairs, big variety of good beers, we liked sitting there.
THere was no door seperating the toilet from the rest of the suite. THe water pressure in the shower was very low.
The room is spacious and relaxing. Facilities in the room wants to make you stay longer. Bravo Zulu.

The hotel facilities outside the rooms are rusty and dirty. One of the two lifts broke down and after 9 days it had not yet been repaired. Going up to the room took more than 5 minutes if you were lucky.

declared suit doesn't fit the appropriate level of service,e.g. a small piece of soap for all days of staying,there is no shampoo and balsam for hair-only bath foam,1towel for face and hands(there were 2 of us) etc.
