Has a distinctive identity and stands out, in a quiet, safe and lovely neighborhood. Can walk to most of the places of interest and spots in town, if one has the aptitude.
Almenas is a nice cosy home/hostel, comfortable place to sleep in and a clean complete private bath (have to opt for it though).
The staff is professional and courteous. And yes, Wi-fi is available and works very well. Breakfast was simple but sufficient as one would eat at home.

We liked the friendly and helpful staff and how close it was to the subways and restaurants. We also liked the rooms where people could congregate and visit and get to know each other. The kitchen was easy to use and very clean and quite a good size. The rooms had good ventilation and ours was a great size and had a really vomfortable bed. -

Awesome helpful staff . A great place to go if you are traveling alone as they provide a free dinner which is a great way to meet other travellers . Also on weds night they have free wine . On the weds I was there it was a bit quiet so the staff let us drink all the wine!!! . -

It was an amazing place. We enjoyed very much our two nights in "Princesa Insolente Hostel". Staffs were very friendly (thanks Randall) and helpful. Everything was clean a tidy.

So charming!!! The concierge both in the evening and morning were super friendly helpful and bi- (possibly tri-) lingual. The lobby was bright and happy. The rooms are all unique and charming with high ceilings and crown molding. It felt elegant yet unpretentious. I loved the building it was housed within. -

The most comfortable hostel bed I have ever been.
Also great localization, near to the metro and the bohemian streets. Despite that its quite silent and pleasant.
The food is another strong point. Although the breakfast is quite common, the hostel has fruits that you can eat anytime you want.
