  The Black Rock was the delightful and invaluable base for the best family vacation we have ever had. From the dramatic location and vistas, to the truly incredible, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, helpful and unfailingly polite staff, the resort was everything we could have hoped for when we booked a five night stay in a small town about which we ha... wat mensen zeggen » d never heard at the end of the road on the edge of the Pacific. The hotel helped us book incredible whale watch and kayak excursions, and the staff u - While pricey - this resort is worth every penny - the rooms are beautifully appointed with excellent views of the bay, ocean or forest. The Wild Pacific Trail is easily accessed and enjoyed from the lodge. The restaurant and cafe were well priced with excellent menus. Ucluelet is a great town for wildlife viewing - stay around this area for the best chance at sea otters.

  The en-suite queen room we rented was a great value for the price. It was very clean and extremely comfortable. It was very helpful having a refrigerator and microwave. The location was quiet and very close to the Wild Coast Trail. I would definitely recommend it to a friend. - It was very convenient to come and go with the keyless entry. As we w... wat mensen zeggen » eren't sure what time we'd get into town, it was nice to not have to disturb anyone. The room was awesome! The bathtub and the canopy bed were my faves. :)
