Most of the staff at the reception speaks quite fluently English and are helpful. The hotel is simple but offer a good enough breakfast. The rooms have a good quality wifi and paid tv. The bathroom was renovatated and is modern, clean, have a good shower. The location of the Hotel is very convinient, close to the city and public transport.

This hotel has a very good location (quiet, safe, close to Flamengo Park and Beach).
Very kind and helpfull staff (we asked in spanisch, they answered in portuguese or english - was a nice mixture), but we got all information we needed.
Breakfast was excellent with rolls, bread, ham and cheese, fresh fruit, coffee, tea or juice.

The staff was very helpful and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. As dated as the decor was it was nice to have a spa bath and a sauna in the room. There are ongoing renovations at the hotel and it should be much nicer within 6 months. -

Rooms were spartan but clean, bed was very comfortable (I like a hard bed), location is right downtown so you don't have to go far to get anything. Staff were as helpful as they could be despite a significant language barrier. Very good value for what I paid and would happily stay again. -

Staff was very kind. They let us in the room although it were 7:00 in the morning (when we arrived from the flight). They even gave us breakfast when we arrived. Hotel had facilities exactly what we needed, and it is near Lapa part of Rio. -
