house with winding passages, multiple levels, and a variety of antiques?
My daughter, two teenaged grandsons, and I felt welcome and quite at
home during out stay. Johannes gave us our choice of family rooms and
arranged for the wonderful Bob's Tours (ask for Peter to be your
guide);Lalith and Alberto were always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed
the neighborhood ambience with an easy walk to the old town center. Like

Everything is excellent. We did like the swimming pool with pure blue water on the hotel's backjard. The hotel itself is very clean and quiet as well as very beautifully decorated in an old style. Clean room, friendly atmosphere. Located just outside Salzburg but an easy tram ride into the city. Leave the car at the hotel and use the tram. If you are visiting attractions buy a Salzburg card at the hotel. Well worth the money. We will be back.

The hotel is about 10 min by foot from the main train station and the way is simple. Additionally, after reservation you receive from the hotel an instruction how to get to the hotel.

The pension was perfectly clean, and approximately 20 meters from it is
a bus stop. The busses run about every 20 mins, but it varies. The
reception staff is very helpful. Do buy tickets beforehand, to save
unnecessary expensive on the bus purchased, tickets. But remember, on
Sundays, most shops are closed in Salzburg. The main train station is
definitely walking distance. Currently there is construction going on,
so to handle luggage down and up stairs can be a challenge.

The place is so nice. Surounded by mointains and you can hear the river
running while you sleep. Me room was beautiful. The girl in charge was
really nice. The breakfast you wouldn't belive... 17 kind of
cereals, diferent cheeses, fruits, real coffee and more! The bus to the
city runs often and it takes 10 min to get to there. You can hike near
by and they lend you sticks and umbrellas.

Sandra, the owner, was wonderfully helpful. She speaks German, Italian, English, and some French. We were driving, and so the free parking was a bonus (Salzburg has very expensive parking.) Very pleasantly surprised. We wanted to stay longer! The room was very modern and clean - we felt right at home. It's a good 10 minute walk to town, but for this price and this quality we were prepared to make the hike! Really recommend. -

Good service from the owner/family.
Apartment was large and reasonably well appointed, with pots/pans on request.
Restaurant dinner meals were excellent and good value ( we did not have breakfast).
Wifi was adequate. -
Fantastic location, great service, rooms very spacious.
