We received an early check in which was greatly appreciated after 24hours travelling from the UK. The door men were very helpful: recommending restaurants, travel advice etc. Their efforts did not go unnoticed. The pool/gym facilities were a lovely treat. Perfect location in - The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The concierge restaurant recommendations were perfect for what we requested, which we did three times. The hotel is perfectly situated in Sydney for people wanting to visit the local historical areas as well as the most well known sights like the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, all within close walking distance from the hotel. The location was good, near the Myer , David Jones, China town and the most attractions. And the room equipmented with all the things you n... wat mensen zeggen » eed, just like in you home. so i recommend it to the people who will have a long stay in Sydney - The view from our room 4107 was absolutely fantastic! they had run out of rollaway beds ,but made up a bed for our daughter in the lounge which was just perfect for her to stay with us for a couple of nights.We loved your apples and the friendliness of all your staff even the cleaning ladies. We also loved the pool ,spa and sauna..Thank you for everything.

  Great location and view of Darling Harbour and Paddy's City Market. Although it is some distance to the Rocks and the Opera House, it is walkable and can see a lot of things on the way.   We stayed at the Holiday Inn because we needed somewhere close to the airport as we had an early flight in the morning. On our our arrival we were greeted by a friendly staff member, I think her name was Sarah who assisted us with all of our needs. We had a room on the first floor which was modern, clean and comfortable. If you are looking for somewhere to eat o - Having heard some negative reports about this hotel, I was pleasantly surprised to find it particularly good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room quiet, comfortable, and relaxing after a long flight. Both the evening bar meal and the buffet breakfast were very good and reasonably priced. I would consider using this hotel again, when travelling through, or to, Sydney.
