Wish we'd had the time and money to stay longer. We'll be back
The staff were warm, friendly, very helpful, and available. The room we had suited our needs perfectly,and any extra crockery was provided immediately so that we could entertain family. I can't fault this as a place to stay. It was very good value for money and we are planning to return.

Skylight in bedroom/kitchen meant soon as the sun was up so was i. Bed is short - had to sleep at an angle. I was arriving out of hours and had four ph calls before I was told how to gain access to room

The bed, it was a spring bed and was very uncomfortable as we kept rolling into the middle

overall it was a good place to stay. Lots of hot water.
Poor lighting, no bedside table, cramped ensuite. Shower tricky to operate.

No breakfast and no reception so we arrived and there was nobody to book us in one room was a prison cell with a bed but they changed it without any fuss Australian hotels are not up to uk or international standards at the same price On the plus side you can get 3-4 people in a room if you wish so young people travelling in a group would like this and subsequently the cost could be split into a low budget
Too far from bust stops and taxi routes and also the beach no reception we wandered around trying to find someone for half an hour when we were dog tired noisy with no carpets upstairs the echo and resonation of sound was bad no information available in the rooms about the local area - a map of the city would be cheap and very welcome If you are a young group who enjoy sharing rooms you will like this no nonsense place but its basic

Pillows - you could once have described them as pillows but now they were simply lumps of fill in a pillow case

Not receiving the accommodation we expected. Poor communication skills of staff. Booked shuttle bus not picking us up at the airport. Should be advertised as budget accommodation.

The location, close to Manly, public transport and restaurants including late night eateries. The room size.
Dusty. Old fittings. Tiny bathroom. Missing pieces from cooking facilities. No fire escape evacuation directions. Smell of cigarette smoke in hall. Hall light on all night. Staff not around during advertised times.
The room was clean and tidy
No table to eat of.No tea or coffee to welcome guests and only one seat to sit on in the room.The fridge wasn't switched on before we got there.The amount of noise from other guests arriving during the night and been shown there accommodation.
It looked good on the website and went down hill from there. I stayed in the one bedroom "apartment," booked by my employer. My daughter is Penny Maher. She stayed in another room with her sister on the Saturday and Sunday night. There room wasn't too bad.
Disgusting pillows.Two pillow cases on one pillow to hide the state of it. Smelly kitchen facilities. Paper thin walls. Extremely noisy neighbours. Television almost on the ceiling. Used condom in foyer one night. No ventilation in the bathroom..My daughters arrived on the Saturday afternoon, while I was at work and there was no key left out or parking permit. Rang someone who was very apologetic but then spoke to someone else who had an "attitude".
the style of the building
The noise, constant noise of an evening with people talking in the hallway travelling down the corridor vibrating into my room, the noise from other guests from 6 am in the morning barely had any sleep because of it, was quite disgusted and upset
Manager was rude and refused to refund money despite the consultant not staying at the hotel after a miscommunication on access to rooms. Poor communication and no onsite staff. Other guests commented on the rooms being unclean.
I don't recommend the outback lodge to anybody traveling into Sydney. Eventhough this website was fantastic, The customer service and manor of the lodge staff/management was appalling, buyer beware
All the aspects, the small soap us given only one. It was at the back of the house, not proper accomodation
No bathmat, and asked, still did not receive. The pictures in the booking are nothing like the room . The bed had a single bed over it. The bed was a very old lumpy matress. The pillows were that dirty, they had several pillow cases on to hide the fact. Paint peeling throughout. Very disapointed that was not like pictures on booking at all.

service is very bad. On the first day after I checked in at 11:00am, no staff are at the hetel office anymore. Can not get any help. The hotel just provide a room for stay. No food, no telephone. few people stay at the hotel. on Monday night, just myself live in the building with 6 rooms, it is really horrible experience. I paid the money for five days, but I need check out after two days stay. no any refund from the hotel. I paid for 5 days but just stay there for two days.
