Everything about the Port Douglas Motel was excellent! The location was
excellent, it was immaculately clean and the staff were exceptional. One
of the best hotel/motel experiences I've had. Not to mention
that the price was unbeatable! I can't say enough about how much I
enjoyed my stay there. -

Proximity to what we were down there for, access to public transport,
beach playgrounds. Michelle (Relief Manager) could not do enough for us
from the time of booking on the internet, the follow up emails prior to
arrival, arranging transfers for us, all of this whilst dealing with a

We as an older couple liked the ground floor. I am not sure if you had a lift.
Good walking distance to some facilities. e.g. Working mans club.
Transport system good.
Helpful management. Good nights sleep. We would stay there again.

Facilities were excellent. Clean, spacious, all mod cons, fridge, microwave, cable tv, toaster, hairdryer, iron. Comfy bed, comfy couch, plenty of room to move around, table & chairs outside. Friendly staff. Knew when rooms were being cleaned between 9 and 11 so could go out then and know would come back to clean room. Excellent place. -

Staff were accommodating to our needs e.g. parking for two cars. While it was fluorescent tube lighting it was much better than the trend towards dimly lit rooms that we seem to have experienced so often of late. Room was more than satisfactory for a short notice overnight stay Thanks.

We would really want to thank the reception staff for their help! They
have all been really friendly, helpful and professionnal! They booked us
the Whitsundays Boat Tour litterally at the last moment (we had not
thought of booking all that in advance) and they kindly kept our luggage
and our car parked at their place for 3 days while we were away!

road trip stop). This Hotel is excellent! It's clean, confortable
and nicel -
All of the staff were extremely helpful and all requests for information were followed up efficiently and nothing appeared to be too much trouble.
They allowed us to store our luggage on two occasions saving us the trouble of finding somewhere to store it whilst we went off on other adventures..
They made our stay in Arlie Beach a pleasure and we would strongly recommend this place to all travels for value and friendly service.

The privacy, the secluded area per unit. The gardens were amazing. All the little extras were included like robes, candles, mozzie coils and so forth ... more than you would expect from a budget resort. Such a relaxing and tropical atmosphere. This accommodation was the best thing about Port Douglas.
