We found surfers international to be an exceptional place to stay, the staff are fantastic and very accommodating to your needs, the rooms are very well presented and very clean, the facilities are exactly what we were after, security is fantasic with key entry only to rooms and carpark, would recommended to anyone with a family who are after a long stay or bussiness person for overnight, was very impressed thank surfers international Cheers Melinda Krol.
alle beoordelingen » I asked for an apartment on a high floor with a view of the sea. I got an excellent apartment on the 20th floor with a balcony and a great floor. The staff were very laid back and helpful. Liked the sea view from our room,was nice to wake up to a nice view with the sun coming up,also liked the pool and gym they had there,being on the 18th floor was really good too. Nicky attended to us was friendly and humble. She allowed to extend late check-out till 12noon when given good reason as my family and I was participating @Gold Coast Marathon. The layout of the unit was perfect. Lots of room. The beds were extremely comfortable. The suite was extremely clean and well maintained. Always the best place to stay! Very accommodating... Very clean and we love going back every time We always tell people to stay here. The view from our apartment was excellent. Kitchen was very clean with all complete utensils provided. Location was the best. Fantastic views of ocean, close to Cavill ave, shops, clubs and restaurants. Very comfortable accommodation for the money. The views from our room of the sea, beach and street were amazing. The close proximity to everything .. great position.. close to everything we walked to most places and caught the bus because the bus stop was very close. The staff were lovely and kind. Room was big with great view! Will definitely be going back!. Every thing was Lovely the room the Staff. we have even book 3 nights for Oct long weekend. Right on the beach and super close to Cavil. The kitchen and bathrooms were recently renovated. Balcony overlooking ocean Good sized one bedroom apartment So close to shops, restaurants and beach. The view was totally awesome. As it was for a party night it was close to cavill. So no taxi fare z. The room was well set up and the view was awesome. Was in the perfect spot. I will be back. Views of the Iluka now closed were 'sad' .. the building will be demolished in due course and this won't be a pretty sight for anyone staying at Surfers International during that period.. new building was going up next door very noisy in the mornings and the carpet in our unit was a bit dirty. Kitchen very dated. No oven trays so could not cook with the oven. light in kitchen not work. Roar of surf was very loud, especially at night when trying to sleep, maybe double glass to block out noise of that plus all the party goers would be great. Air-conditioning would of been fantastic!!. The bed were the hardest beds I have ever felt, was like sleeping on the floor. The unit was entirely furnished with cane furniture which looked tacky. The apartment lacked warmth and personality, we likened it to a stairwell with furniture. Do NOT get the breakfast included, it is over priced and it is at the local RSL club which was really disappointing, ugly and tacky and definitely not worth the money we paid, did not even use the breakfast provided for the second night it was that bad. The building and apartment shows it's age in general wear and tear. The room was nice but there were a few lights that didn't work. 1 in the main bedroom. 1 in the laundry. 1 in the lounge room. Other than that it was a nice room. Lights in the hall way flashed and power kept going out in our room. Turned out you a had a plug in the power point that went you moved in the bed it shorted out. Dated fixtures (ie. kitchen). No Bed covers besides the sheets - starting to get cool now. Furniture and decor was a bit dated. We booked 2x2bedroom apartments. My cousins & his family got there first but the receptionist said they only got 1 2bedroom apartment for us. They said they didn't see the other booking that was also done under the same booking number. They told us we could share the 2 bedroom with 10 Ppl if we wanted and they will refund us the other room in the morning. I was not happy about that at all. The night manager came later on that night and organized 2 1 bedroom after that which was OK. No air conditioning even though it said air conditioning online when we booked. Reception informed us each apartment owned individually so apartments can vary widly in quality. Informed most rooms with a/c had a/c disconnected due to repair costs too high. No cable Air con didn't work Tv remote was broken. Very old apartments. Very mouldy bathrooms. Filthy carpets throughout. Could smell rubbish room from apartment. Dirty glass doors. Booked 2 bedroom apartment with ocean views and was put on the ground floor with no view very disappointing when you pay for view. The fact they did not have two single beds as requested and I had to sleep on a fold out single bed! I think something was taken while we were out as fold out bed was delivered. Sliding door to balcony would was locked open and would not shut . Neighbour woke us with blarring music at full volume at 1.30am and it took an hour to get him to turn it off. - Room was nothing like what was shown in photos (not worth the money at all) - mould in showers. - ensuite door was off. Friend had to put it back up. - rubbish in draws in bedrooms - smoke butts on balcony - generally, dirty room - lounge-room light did not work. Neither did the lights for the balcony. no air con in the room fans didn't work dryer didn't work notified after hours they told me they would send maintenance nobody showed! Very disappointed!!. the fan in one of the bedrooms didn't work, spoke to staff about it & they didn't care that the fan didn't work, road works or building work being done outside the apartment started at 5 am on Saturday morning waking everyone up. so our stay was not pleasurable & we should have been offered a discount for the inconvenience.
