Location of our apartment beside the river, with views to kill for, was breathtaking and magic, particularly during night. You felt transported into a fairyland with the lights of your surrounds reflected in the water. Stunning. Made you want to live here more permanently. Comfortable rooms, everything you need for day to day living. Walking distance to center of town and beaches. Absolutely value for money.
alle beoordelingen » Surfers Del Ray was an exceptional place to stay. Very family friendly, apartments were spacious and comfortable. The pool and spa were awesome. Being heated we could use it anytime of the day or night. It is walking distance to the heart of Surfers. We will definately stay here again. Loved the temp of the pool and spa. Easy walking distance to buses on the highway. Very quiet and non intrusive. Mandy and Graeme very informitive of the gold coast attraction and very friendly. Very laid back holiday atmosphere. Will go back there for sure. Staff were friendly, approachable and informative. Apartments were clean and tidy as were all outside grounds and the pool areas. Location was within walking distance to the main shops / beach etc. and had a friendly and relaxed family atmosphere. They supplied everything we needed. Washing machine, dryer, cooking equipment and so on. Within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and night clubs. It had everything you would need and the views from the room was fabulous. I also enjoyed the pool and it's outlook onto the river and we liked the service we received from the owners, they were friendly and helpful. The owners were friendly, and the location of the accommodation was fairly close to the beach (5-8 minute walk). Also, the price of the accommodation was quite budget friendly. Despite the issues, the atmosphere of the apartment block was still quite relaxed. I liked the location, vary handy. The apartment itself was clean and set out well. The unit size and location. I liked it very much. All good. Only problem was with someone parking in the unit allotted space. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable, and for the price shouldn't really complain - however the unit we stayed in could do with a bit of maintenance - walls painted, furniture updated, stove replaced as it is faulty. Nice to have simple kitchen condiments eg. Dishwashing liquid,tinfoil,gladwrap? encourage demograhic. Mattresses are way too soft for comfort. nothing. there was a few things wrong with our room, but would still stay there again. There should be AC in the rooms too. The stairs! :). Quite noisy at night. The facilities were quite ordinary. For example, in our apartment both bedroom fans were not functional, and the second bathroom tap leaked constantly. After two requests to have the leaky tap fixed (as the noise of constant running water was discomforting) the issue was still not resolved. The main lights in both bedrooms did not work. The shower screen in the bathroom wouldnt close properly because it was broken. The hot water tap kept falling off in the shower. The general cleanliness.layers of dust on lampshades,bedheads etc.Walls and doors in need of a wipedown.Leaking taps and non working ceiling fans which were reported to staff but not fixed during our stay. Had no hand towels or tea towels and lake of suger and coffee. Glass tops on tables potential WH&S for children. Everything other than location. Very dirty. Poor equipment. Very poor room with work (scaffold) right outside the front window. Ver very disappointing. The manager was terrible. He was lazy and don't expect much from him. The stove didn't work well. It took us more than thirty minutes to grill hamburgers.
