Chris was very helpful with suggestions about places to visit in Coffs and in nearby towns. We also liked the large rooms, the microwave in the motel room, the availability of free DVDs, the BBQ, and the resident bird and rabbits. -

The reception was excellent, very friendly and helpful, explained the best places to have a meal, and the localities of same. My wife and I travelled to Coffs Harbour for Medical Specialist reasons, will have to return early in June so will stay at the Hawaiian Sands again if there is a vacancy -

Staff very helpful, comfortable bed, balcony... everything you need for a one-night escape from the son's 20th Birthday Party in Toormina!
We'll certainly keep the Sanctuary in mind if we ever want to escape again, but don't want to travel too far...lol -

The whole weekend was excellent. My negative comment was of one staff member, who probably needs a bit of retraining. However the staff were great considering the storm that had ensued not long after our arrival. Staff could have been concerned about personal property and they still kept a smile and courteous attitude during their task at hand. I

I partciularly was extremely imporessed by the night receptionist
Nathan. I also stayed there Christmas eve and the day after and he was
on duty on both occasions. So helpful was he that I intended to write a
letter to the managemant extolling our praise.You are fortunate to have
him and youir other staff members were helpful as well. Please pass on
my thanks to Nathan. Also has good facilities, including the pool and
closness to the beach if required.

The location is perfect, across the road is the beach. We stayed here
only one night on our way to Brisbane, but Coffs Harbour, the beach and
this hotel seemed very nice too us. No complaints about the room, clean,
big. We'd stay here for a longer holiday as well. -

The staff were fantastic, especially those at breakfast. I didn't catch the girls name who was there both mornings yet she was helpful, polite and accommodating. I have used this hotel 3 times now as a stop off on my trips north. It is easy to find, well priced, in a great spot, and the staff are super friendly and nothing was or is a problem. Having stayed here when it was Formule 1 i have to say the beds are so much more comfy. Also it was good that there was a bar fridge in the room. Complimentary tea and coffee in the breakfast area was also appreciated

Stayed here for only one night, but it just wasn't long enough. The room was large, very clean and the bed was extremely comfy. Alisha and Peter the managers were great and very accommodating, we were booked in else where the next night for a wedding.
