  This is hostel/hotel, but with the hotel room you wouldn't feel like you were in a hostel. Hotel rooms are all en suite and very spacious and clean with aircon and the best hot powerful shower! It's great for people travelling alone or backpacking as there is a great friendly atmosphere around when you come home at night there is always a group o... wat mensen zeggen » f people to stay up and socialise with. Near to the main city centre, just a few stops away on the train line. Palermo is a good 30 mins by taxi away - I liked very much the hostel, the rooms are clean, people are very nice, the recepcionists are adorable. I'm brazilian and stayed for four days, went alone to buenos aires and was amazing. The hostel is close to other neighborhoods known like palermo retiro and recoleta. I recommend!

  We stayed in Hotelmo which is next store to the Mantengase hotel, they offered private rooms with private bathroom. Everything was fantastic from the location, service, the owners of the complex are very very accommodating. Even though we couldnt speak a word of spanish and they couldnt speak a word of english, they bent over backwards to assist ... wat mensen zeggen » us. Breakfast was really good with good quality pastries, great coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. They even gave us a transport card to use d - The hostel is very well located, close to some important points of the city or with easy access to buses. We stayed in the double room, the decoration is nice, detailed chosen and with colors... The people that received us at the hotel treated us as their family, caring if we had everything... the breakfast was good too... the front house, where we were having the breakfast, has turtles, dogs and a funny parrot, what made the experience even better for us... I highly recommend!

  I liked everything about this hotel! I stayed here for about a week. I have been travelling for 6 months now and this is the best one I have found - comfortable, peaceful, decent sized rooms, great location (San Telmo - short walk to Plaza Dorrego, next to a metro stop). Breakfast is nice! They bake cakes every day! And most of all THE STAFF are s... wat mensen zeggen » o lovely, from the housekeepers, to the receptionists, to the owner, who is always around and seems to really want people to feel comfortable and welc - Simply the best choice in Buenos Aires! Extremly helpfull staff, very clean rooms, nice clean common bathrooms with hot water anytime. Great various breakfast. Functional WiFi and perfect location just few steps from the main square and Metro station. Extra: safes in the room, possibility of BBQ on the roof of the hostel.   heel vriendelijk en goede ligging ! - It was my second staying in this hostel, and I had a chance to compare it with some other hostels after my first staying. I must say, that it's a really great place to live, and it's even better than most of the 2-3* hotels in Baires. Excellent lounge, nice furniture and decorating, very kind people who speak... wat mensen zeggen » good English, perfect location and security, and, what was really important for me, very high level of cleanness in every part of hostel. As I think, the only reason why it's not a 'hotel' - The hostal is an old colonial building. It has original features and large shuttered windows, it is beautiful and is walking distance to the antiques market, bars and main areas while feeling vey local and not overly touristy. The owners and the people that worked there were friendly and accomodating especially Pablo and even the surly but caring Muigel. There was another very nice man there but I didn't get his name.
