The staff was professional and accommodating. The amenities were
perfect. The atmosphere was great. The location was perfect for us. The
bed was comfortable. The corner room was an added plus, with windows on
both sides. And, the desk clerk put us on the quieter side of the hotel,
which was a lovely gesture. We will stay there again. -

They have a shuttle bus to the subway station which was great and the Receptionist and Driver were kind enough to arrange a pick up for us (7 people) at a different time than the one scheduled. This was a great perk as my son (6 year old) was really tired of walking all day long.

Rooms were very comfortable and in high standard. The staff was very helpful, overall facilities were fantastic (I recommend the bar :). Location is good, close to the metro, so you could be in the town in about 15 min from the moment you leave the doors of the hotel. If you travel by car, there is a free parking provided. -

... cosa dice la gente » blizzard and we couldn't have asked for any better service under the circumstances. The pool area was absolutely fantastic for the kids as we had 5 with us. Everyone was bending over backwards to make our snowed-in stay comfortable, We couldn't have had a better time.

Everything is very clean. The breakfast is simple but with nice quality. For example, the soy milk I had was organic, and the bread was not some cheap toast but real (tasty) bread. There're also boiled eggs, yogurt, homemade cake, etc.
I also like they use passwords instead of key or keycard for rooms and the building. I never need to worry about

Since I was there during a very popular time, the price was more expensive than usual. Therefore, I cannot comment on -
i loved how homey the Morrison House was. I felt like I was a guest in a very clean and well-maintained residence. It is very quiet, and the hosts are incredibly accommodating and friendly. The location was also fantastic. A two minute walk from the very active Davis Square and the Red Line into the city.

Great place when visiting Boston area with a car. Close to Boston and Cambridge but free of the problems of parking and driving in the city. Hotel is easy to find and parking is convenient.

The location is wonderful. You're within walking distance to almost everything of interest in the city. There is a Whole Foods next door as well if you want to get something life fresh fruit. The rooms are spacious and clean -- and we got one with a wonderful view of the Charles River. I'm not sure if it was worth all the money we paid for it, but it was a weekend in a centrally-located hotel in Boston. I guess the price made sense.

Hotel 140 is located only a 5-minute walk from the rear exit of Back Bay Railroad Station. Upon arrival I had taken the train from Springfield, MA. I followed the drive where the local buses pull into Back Bay Station right out to Clarendon Street and bore left. I had just a half-block walk from that point to the front entrance of the hotel. Of all the hotels I looked at near Harvard, it was most reasonably priced. The area is very expensive though. Included continental breakfast and Internet, which many others did not. So good value relative to other nearby inns and hotels, but still more e xpensive than I would expect to pay for the accommodations if it were elsewhere.
Very friendly staff.

I loved this hotel and have stayed in many. There is a shuttle that brings you to major stops in Cambridge. Super convient and arrives after five mins of calling for only 5$ a day!
There is a nice lobby and this is close to Starbucks and Trader joes so no breakfast included isn't a huge loss.
Comfy rooms. Nice staff. Great price & location.

I liked the location, friendly staff and cleanliness. I liked the complimentary Valet parking and the fact that the T is located so close to the hotel and it was so easy to get into Boston using the red line. I liked the fact that there is a Starbucks in the lobby. The view of Charles River was beautiful. Overall a wonderful experience. I also liked the fact that check out was at noon!
