My father and I shared a standard queen room overnight while visiting
nyc to see a concert. I was amazed that the concierge desk is open and
available 24-7 - we ended up checking into our room at around 10:45 pm
and the staff was still very happy to greet us. Each staff member
expressed their wonderful personality and kindness in every interaction,
and were 100% accommodating. The decor of common spaces as well as that
of our room was chic yet comfortable; we enjoyed the entire experience.

We loved the spacious room, the decoration of the room, the hotel, the
general design and clever use which was made of he space. Our room was
terrific and are grateful for the upgrade. We saw the Chrysler Building
from our bed ... very cool. The staff were adorable and extremely
helpful. And the old-timer car service was coolest of all ! The
proximity to the subway (one stop only from Grand Central !) and from
the ferry to dumbo and Wall Street make this a very good alternative to
highly priced

The fact that the hotel was so small made it so you saw the same front
of house staff everyday. It made everything feel very familiar and
comfortable. The concierge was a great help in choosing a show and
getting us great seats at the very last minute. The front desk was
accommodating when we asked to change rooms as well. The room, although
small, felt very comfortable and not too crowded.

The room was clean and comfortable although the outlook from the window was onto an unspectacular building! However the room was quiet and relatively peaceful after the noise of New York city! The hotel was in a great location for subway, jazz venues, small restaurants and eclectic shops.

A very nice hotel, extremly nice staff (among the best I met). A calm and attractive place to stay and rest after a hot New York/ Manhattan day. Nice bar and a very good restaurant in house. Always fresh water and some nice snacks every night in the room. Stayed 8 nights and will gladly come back. A summer stay when the out door terrrace is open.

Waking up to a view of High Line Park and the Empire State Building. Comfortable bed, quiet despite being in the middle of the city and great shower. We arrived at the hotel about 3 hours before check-in to drop off our
bags but to our surprisement, our room was avaliable and we even got an
upgrade because someone cancelled! The room was small - as any hotel

$200/Night), I did not expect one. Staff was extremely pleasant and

I find the Blakely to be centrally located for all activities in Manhattan. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The rooms are spacious enough. I love the area in the room where you have Emeril Kerik coffee and the Kerik coffee maker.
there is also a microwave, a small refrigerator, sink and utensils for morning coffee if you want to sleep late and not take advantage of the complimentary breakfast. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms spotless where the magnifying mirror on the wall is

I traveled for business but I am already planning to vacation here. The prices of every hotel quintuple in the summer, as they do here, but since the prices are much more reasonable than other places I really think this is a great value. The rooms are large and clean, the showers might be a bit small but the hot water never ran out with GREAT water

My sister and I traveled to NYC for an event at NYU. I loved the location being at Washington Square. We walked to dinner each night at small ethnic restaurants. The free breakfast was a great addition- coffee was very good. Loved the look and style of the hotel. Staff was amazing and VERY accommodating.
