Historic, gorgeous Inn with tons of character, both inside and out. Decorated in unique Adirondack style. Awesome whirlpool and indoor pool on the ground floor. Spa is renowned. Breakfast buffet in The View restaurant was delicious. Room was plenty big for three women and tastefully decorated. Hotel is perfectly located right on the lake and a close walk to everything in town.

So nice to see lemonade and cookies at check-in desk, even though we were too full to enjoy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bacon beautifully cooked at breakfast buffet; pancakes good. Loved the area for kids near the pool, and the spacious grounds. Lots of little nooks around the hotel for quiet conversations. Loved the fire "pit" outside

The location is very close to the lake and there are many good restaurants nearby. The first night we were given a room that was over looking at the back parking but in the morning the staff were helpful in locating us to a room that overlooking at the lake which was very nice.

It was easy access to gaming. Rooms were very comfortable. Prompt service when asking for towels for three. Extremely quiet hotel. Considering going again for Easter if there is a special for two nights stay.

This is a large, high end resort primarily for conventions and
conferences. The place is meticulously groomed and "white
glove" maintained. There are rooms in a main building and in many

We had a suite in the lodge. It was beautiful, comfortable and clean. The entire facility was immaculate and the staff was extremely accommodating. There were many places to relax and many activities to get involved in. All in all, we had a wonderful experience and I can't wait to go back.

We loved the complete set-up, the maritim style throughout the hotel.
Common areas were nicely furnished and with great views of the marina.
In the evening the staff would light bonfires on the different
terraces.The rooms were bright and spacious with balconies, the bathroom

The staff was excellent from the doorman to the pool staff. The front desk was helpful. Erica at the bar was attentive and made you feel like you've been showing up there for years. The gentleman who provide fires outside for two nights was a very nice man.

The hotel is kept in reasonable condition. Room is spacious. The
surrounding is ski & golf, so it is basically good place to spend
a holiday. -
I loved the amount of activities that were available to us. I also loved the look of the resort.

Great spa, great setting, very, very nice and helpful staff. Very good food except for the Gurney burger--dry and tasteless. Nice rooms, great views, comfortable beds. Very clean and comfortable baths. It was a wonderful place to escape and relax. -

Very nice place just outside (2 miles) the craziness of the village. We
wanted 'quiet' but close enough to enjoy the downtown area. We
drove into town but the trolley is available just outside the Colonel
Williams. The owners/staff are very attentive and the

They have 2 outdoor pools and one indoor. The playground with swings and
tree fort so the kids had plent to do along with basketball court and
tennis court, they had shuffle board which was fun. Also they have a
wreck room with 2 pool tables a large tv and a arcade game plenty of
stuff for the kids to do and to save the best for last they have
