I loved how friendly and helpful the staff were, the complimentary breakfast was delicious. Our room was updated,modern and clean. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were awesome! Our group enjoyed the local pub too! -

Hotel 140 is located only a 5-minute walk from the rear exit of Back Bay Railroad Station. Upon arrival I had taken the train from Springfield, MA. I followed the drive where the local buses pull into Back Bay Station right out to Clarendon Street and bore left. I had just a half-block walk from that point to the front entrance of the hotel. The grounds were wonderful. The unit we stayed in was pure luxury and a real highlight of our first trip to Nantucket from south Georgia. I cannot say enough about the two bedroom unit we stayed in.
The staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the snacks and drinks provided daily in the lobby. We also benefited from the transportation provided.

Service was fantastic...there was nothing that we were in need of that wasn't there, or easily accomplished my very pleasant staff. Goodies put out all day long in the lobby for snacks. Great location. Rooms were very nice, comfortable, relaxing, and luxurious.

All of it the moment I got there I was early and my room wasn't
ready I rented for six days a one bedroom two double bed suite and got
an upgrade and got fast check in the staff were wonderful and very sweet

Bed was comfortable.
Bathroom was old but clean. Shower was refreshing and the pressure was good.
The room was cool when I entered and was comfortable throughout the night.

Everyone was very nice, especially the women who helped with breakfast in the mornings and happy hour in the afternoons. They were the best part! The location was great, and the room was very comfortable. I will definitely recommend my family stays there again.

The rooms were beautiful and very spacious. The staff was incredibly
friendly/professional. They made me feel welcomed the minute I
stepped my foot in the hotel. We were there to visit Salem and it was a
very short drive to Salem. The free breakfast was actually very nicely
done. I get nervous about free breakfasts at times but this one was

The room was very comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the use of the giant hot tub in the pool room and the complimentary coffee. The staff were very personable and friendly. I was pleased to have a balcony (as a smoker, it was convenient). We are excited to come visit again soon! Thank you. -

The rooms in the mansion were amazing... Clean, beautifully decorated,
and the most comfortable beds ever! Every staff person was amazing and
had a smile on their face, the food and service was top notch. We even
met the gm Matthew Moore who took the time out of is busy day to
congratulate us on our wedding the day before. We will go back every
year to celebrate our anniversary. We had an amazing time!

Very accommodating staff - Located in a quiet side road. Ideal to go shoping by foot. Nice stores (also grocery) close by. As for the rooms it seems to depend on which room you get: I was located 1 block away from Copley House and enjoyed the suite very much.

The staff were great and very helpful. The rooms were clean, if a bit dated. The inn was within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The pool was nice, if small.

The landscaped grounds of the PBVR are interesting and beautiful. We were also pleasantly surprised that the room we stayed in had been recently renovated. There was a new rug, comfortable beds, and the bathroom was recently retiled. The room was spacious for a family of four. It was nice to have breakfast available on site.

Staff were professional and helpful and pleasant. Beds were wonderful! Adequate towels and amenities. Very nice breakfast buffet. This is our 4th or 5th visit to this motel and we have enjoyed every visit, despite the fact that it involved us going to see a doctor each time! We came to go to the Brigham and Women's Hospital in near by Foxborough.
