  Excellent guesthouse with fantastic rooms very close to the main street with plenty of shops and bars. The owners were very welcoming as were all of the staff and the breakfast was excellent. Dressing gowns were provided to walk the short distance to and from the room. The owners and staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly while also being respectful of your space. Fantastic food, beautiful garden, so close to all that Chatham has to offer. We are returning!

  This was our second visit to the Shaker Mill Inn. Since our first visit, it is under new ownership and better than ever! Our room opened to a deck with a beautiful lawn and woods beyond.
