Our room was clean and comfortable,as was the hotel in general. The staff were very courteous. The food was very good and fairly priced, and the service was excellent. The hotel is definitley a cut above the rest.
Everything was thought out and perfect! Front desk's Wil, after learning we were celebrating an anniversary, sent yummy chocolate covered strawberries and champagne to our room ;) Tres lovely!

Almost everything was well taken care of and service was top notch.
We expected to find a book or some information in the room explaining the amenities of the hotel and found none. Tried to use the TV and on the site I thought we should enter it gave us the eternal rotating circle like it was trying to download. Neither desk person I spoke with were able to understand the problem. They both said to call with questions but that is awkward.

Although they promis free WiFi in the room, it is so weak that you can't use it unless you pay extra. No coffee in rooms. Expensive restorant within the hotel.

For the money this was a fantastic place to stay. Weekend rates for non business travel made it a great choice. The rooms were great and very clean with everything we needed while traveling with 3 boys age 18,17 & 10. Food was also good. Overall was impressed and would definitely stay there again for business or pleasure.
Only a few problems here. There are always weddings or big parties here because of location and the amazing amount of space. It seems like management got a bit carried away with security there. I understand weddings can get a little rowdy but seemed to be overkill. Also felt like the amount of money folks pay for brunch here there could be better flow and maybe not rely on busy waitstaff to bring drinks by setting up a couple of juice/ beverage stations.

Very nice hotel and reasonably priced through letsbookhotel.com. Loved the complementary champagne on the Fri afternoon. Staff in reception were very pleasant and helpful.
Food and drink in restaurant were a bit expensive and found waitress to be a bit unfriendly and insincere.
Second time there in three weeks. They just seem to know what there doing. Nothing special , just efficient and that's enough for me.

Our room overlooked the atrium--which the Reception desk staff considered a bonus. However, the room was dark and it was noisy in the evenings, as it overlooked the restaurants -- not ideal for us as we were jet-lagged and sleep in the early evening was our priority.
From the minute we arrived till the minute we left, every staff member went out of their way to see we were comfortable. I grew up in Greenwich 50 years ago and this was my first trip back to see old friends I had grown up with. The Hyatt Greenwich was outstanding in every way, which was the topper for a trip down memory lane!

We were at a family function. The location was great. The facilities were excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly.
The horrible music at the dining cafe at breakfast. We as well as many others commented on how inappropriate it was. Someone finally filed a complaint but it was not rectified immediately. It was very unpleasant. I felt sorry for the many employees who had to listen to it for hours.
The overall decor is lovely. The room was comfortable. The staff at check-in was friendly and helpful.
On our first day there, the room was not really cleaned. I mean that the bed was made, but the bathroom wasn't touched and the ironing board which I had left up with the iron on it was still up when we came back. We let the front desk know, but nothing was really done about it.We stayed 2 nights.

I had reserved a room with two double beds. Traveling with my daughter and another mother and her daughter. College tours. When we arrived, told there was only a room with a king. Had to sleep on a roll away. Not thrilled.

The hotel was huge and very nicely decorated, both in the reception area and in the rooms. There were actual birds in the lobby, not sure if they were supposed to be there or squatting, but I thought they were cute. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was easy to get a cab and get to downtown Stamford for dinner and drinks.
Extra $10 for parking, looks like they have plenty of parking available I don't know why they have to tack on an extra $10, especially in the off season. Housekeeping knocked on our door at 8am to see if we had checked out yet while we were still sleeping, seemed like poor communication with reception and the housekeeping staff. The handle in the shower was broken.

This is a prime example of those hotels one reads about that may offer a fair price for the room, but their a la carte amenities really sock it to the consumer. Be prepared to pay for things other hotels provide gratis. Also, their dinner menu reads like a T.G.I.F. bar menu. Also, did not know that they set up coffee urns by the elevator so ordered room service because there is not a coffee maker in the room

Temperature controls(or lack thereof) Way too hot in the room with no way to lower the temp or open a window. Called to ask for help to no avail. Drink rings,greasy fingerprints,and crumbs on the table and desk tops. Gross! (Didn't notice this till the morning light came in).

Despite calling the hotel 5 hours before arrival to confirm that we were reserved for a king size bed, we arrived to find that they only had two double bedrooms--they would not give us a king, or an upgrade.
Clean rooms.
It was very expensive. When I checked out I didn't realize the bill was $60 more than what it should have been. Will not be staying here again.
