Loved the location closer to the Train station and had many food options nearby. About 20-25 mins walk towards Hollywood walk of fame but if everyone is young.. that walk is barely anything. Close to the Hollywood sign too. Great value for the money! Clean with a really nice pool. Internet access included and all in great friendly staff.
Limited choices in breakfast.. Donuts and bagels and croissants were the only options but nothing to complain about. Could serve better coffee.

I really enjoyed the time I had spent getting away with my husband. The front manager was very friendly and made us feel comfortable to be staying here.. I also LOVED the location of this hotel, there were so many fast food restaurants less than a mile away, banks, grocery stores, starbucks Yogurtland, and more! I like the short distance we traveled to Universal City Walk.. The area is decent.. Breakfast includes: Cereal, Donuts, Orange Juice and Coffee.. The King sized Beds are VERY CLEAN and comfortable, and quiet lol.. Bathrooms are nice and clean.. There is a small fridge/freezer and microwave ice machines and CABLE TV including HBO and free WIFI.. I Was pretty satisfied!
The hotel is really good for the budget. The blocks around arent the nicest but not bad, and the location in general is really good. The breakfast was good for me (donuts, crosaints, fruits, yogurt, cereals, milk, drinks). You take it to your room or the swimming pool. The room had a microwave, was very big and we had no noises at night. I would recommend this hostel, specially the price - quality relationship.
The first room where we went has leaking water on the ceiling. They changed it immediately. The staff is not bad, but it's not extremely friendly.

Location was very central to everything 10 minutes to universal studios 5 minutes Hollywood boulivord and walk of fame 15 minutes to 6 flags etc etc... So clean and tidy with wide screen T.V... Would strongly recommend this hotel to everyone..

We stayed at this hotel in July 2013 for 4 nights. It was myself, hubby and our 13 year old daughter. We really enjoyed our stayed at this hotel. The location is great, you can walk along Hollywood Boulevard to the 'strip' and it was only 10min drive to Universal Studios which we visited during our stay. You can also see the Hollywood sign in the distance. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The room was very spacious, plenty of room for the 3 of us. It was clean and was tidied throughout our stay. The bathroom was a bit small but had everything we needed so that doesn't matter. The pool area was nice although we never used this facility - never had the time! Breakfast consisted of coffee, cereal and doughnuts - fine for us :o) Would definitely recommend.

We where a couple with a baby 10 months old, and it was really just positive. I liked that it was a micro and fridge in the room and it was clean. Nice with a pool. Groserystore and mc donald 4 min walk away. Hollywood boulevard only ca 30 min walk. But if you have only stayed at 5 star hotel before, you have to lower your expectations! Remember you are in Hollywood and look at the price!!

The staff was friendly. The location was excellent and you can reach the Sunset Strip very easily. No noise, safe area. Although they serve complimentary breakfast, lots of other options are within walking distance.
The room has a rusty smell
The staff were very helpful and it made it easy for us to get around and see a lot with there local knowledge. The shuttle was a great and handy thing as well .It was good to get to the subway,shopping and restaurants.
The only thing I didn't like was the location of my room , but after speaking to the staff we were moved to a less noisy room.
Having three beds in the room was a bonus as there was 1 couple and two guys. There was a pull out sofa bed which we realised when we got in the room. Although the prices were quite expensive it was in a convenient location of Hollywood. The room was quite a big size aswel which is good if there is a few people.

clean & safe little hotel. supermarket & eateries at close walking distance. walkind distance to amoeba music store on sunset blvd, which was the biggest cd/dvd shop with the best range that i have ever seen, make sure to pay it a visit with a full wallet. onsite free parking. short drive to the windy & beautifull hollywood hills & the posh beverly hills.

Great location across from Metro station and buses down to Sunset Strip. Spacious room and bathroom. Lovely little swimming pool, a quiet little sanctuary from city sight seeing.
Self service breakfast from reception to take to room. We asked for an extra pillow and were told they didn't have any spare ones!

perfect location if you plan to visit hollywood area, the walk of fame, universal studio, griffith park are all easy to reach. just across the street there is the subway station which makes your trip around much easier. it's nice they also provide breakfast.
Personal is very commitment with the host people and they offer the best quality they can. The room was big and clean.

I liked the location definitely very close to the metro as i didn't want to drive. Very easy to get to and there was a shopping centre nearby so that was good as well.
The breakfast wasn't anything special could have been better. The staff weren't very kind when it came to leaving your bags at the front desk they basically said they were not responsible for watching one's luggage.
Room delightful - spacious, clean and quiet. Nice breakfast by the pool.
Not the best of areas which might spook some people late at night. Hollywood Boulevard is round the corner but this is far from the posh end.

Location for going for a meal. Only place I could find was a nice Hamburger place about 20 minutes away,
Very affordable hotel in an expensive city. Large clean rooms and a well kept swimming pool. There is free wireless internet. Breakfast is included in the price.
The area is not very nice but it's OK if you move around during the day and go back to the hotel only for a quick dip in the pool and to sleep.
It was close to the next Metro Station Hollywood/Western just accros the street. Quiet close to the walk of fame and Sunset Blvd.
The towels were dirty there were hairs on it from the cleaning staff. Was pretty gross. Other it was very noicy at night and especially in the morning.
Cleaning ladies were friendly and confidence, we could leave our key at the front desk so we could share it with the rest of the party. Location excellent just walking distance of the Metro and Bus stops
