Excellent apartment, very well equipped. Very comfortable beds. We were in a two bedroomed apartment with two children and it was perfect. They provide start up cleaning products and plenty of loo rolls etc, which is not often the case in self catering. Great pool for the kids, which was incredibly warm. Would highly recommend this for families.

Great location...close to the beach and shops/restaurants. Love renting bikes and beach chairs umbrellas. Pool is clean and great! Love the pond in the back with turtles. No one is breathing down your neck but staff will help if you ask. Nice rooms, fridge, comfy beds and coffee maker.

The service staff were terrific. The rental price for beach chairs and umbrella were fair. We enjoyed renting bicycles onsite for 24 hours to explore all the wonderful sights available within biking distance. The beach was lovely. We enjoyed listening to the surf from our room. The pool and lunch/happy hour choices were pleasant. Dinner at the Thistle Inn was very good.

This is a slice of "Old Florida"...very rustic and what Florida was like many years ago...I loved it...it was simple, basic accommodations that were clean, quiet and in a beautiful setting...I also liked that each cottage had it's own gas grill outside for cooking...and we were mere steps from the beach...I will definitely come back! -

The hotel was super clean, beautiful tropical landscaping surrounded every inch of the hotel, tropical colors in the tasteful rooms complete with fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Outside had hammocks, lounge chairs (some with covers) grass huts, Harem tents with full furniture, picnic tables, beach umbrellas provided and installed on beach for you! This hotel was one of the best I have stayed at in Sanibel. I have been going to this area since I was a kid and the staff and location of the hotel went beyond what I was expecting. My wife and I can not wait to start planning another trip to the island and stay here again.
