Our upstairs room at end of walkway was a good position.. Room was clean
and comfortable with fridge and coffee maker. Sitting area was good too.
Easy walking distance to gondola and fantastic views over Lake Tahoe.

The Alpenrose was doing some repairs for a bigger reception but they gave us the room at the opposite place to disturb us as less as possible and they upgrade for a room with fireplace very confortable in novembre...The staff was really nice with us, telling us where to go around. The room was simple but very clean.

The first thing we noticed were the beautiful petunia plants planted
everywhere around the grounds. The pool and jacuzzi were sparkling
clean. The room smelled clean and the linens were fresh and we all

On the first morning there I had forgotten to place the "do not
disturb" sign on our door so the maid wouldn't clean it. Upon
our return I became panicked because it was clear it had been clean (my
shirt and bra neatly folded on top of the made beds!). What scared us
was how we left our camera, i-pad, and computer laying around along with
some of my jewelry. It was all there when we got back and it was
comforting to know we were staying with honest people. The beds were

excellant bed and pillows, good flatscreen tv and channels to view.
sheets were clean and soft,not scratchy. Mini fridge was on and cold. Carpet felt clean to bare feet and non smoking room did not smell of smoke residue.Not fancy but will stay here again. -

On the first night we did not get much rest due to a party in the
adjoining room that lasted until 4am. The hotel refunded our money for
that night.
I reserved a non smoking room anf on the second night I and my friend awoke to what appeared to be second hand cigarette smoke in our room. Not sure, but it seemed to be coming from the ventilation. s

Daily happy hour was awesome. The staff was so friendly and willing to
make any drink we could think of. They were so patient and attentive to
the children that ordered. Great staff from gift shop to the Conceirge.
We stayed over Thanksgiving and was recommended some wonderful
resturants. It was a great time.

Staff was very friendly and happy to make recommendations on restaurants, hiking trails, and the area in general. Breakfast buffet was their own oatmeal, granola, and very fresh bagels --> all were excellent. Has a hot tub on the roof. I would highly recommend for anyone like us who are new to South Lake Tahoe. -

Kitchen was great! There is a FREE GE Profile washer and dryer on each floor. They also have laundry detergent in your room. They do not have cribs only pack n plays. Bring your own sheet or ask for a small one from housekeeping. They didn't bring one and the mat was questionable. -

I love the fact its across the street from Fire & Ice, and just a
less than a mile away from the Casinos. The manager was funny and was
very nice to work with, plus when the younger teens would be acting up
he would set them straight and if they didn't they were kicked
out! Good job! -

Just for a guy who was up for the Golf tournament it worked good for me because I'm not in the room a lot. And the price worked for me as well. -

The Jacuzzi tub in the hotel room was lovely. It was exactly what I
wanted for a romantic night for our anniversary. We had comfortable
beds, pillows and enjoyed the privacy of the room. -

I liked the management very much. The rooms were clean & comfortable, not fancy but nice. The price was terrific! The location was good, in a central location. There was a small refrigerator in the room, as well as a microwave. The motel had internet access, free of charge, which was great!

The room. I requested and received a room for a handicap person and it
was that and so much more. The shower was perfect. I could sit and
shower on a built in bench. There was movability in the room. Isles were
wide enough for a wheelchair. It was downstairs and quiet. Handicap
vehicle space was just outside my room door. Plenty of outlets within

We were a party of 6, 3 adults and 3 children. The hotel was very comfortable, clean, well positioned for access to the ski gondola and main town with bars and restaurants. Staff were friendly and accommodating and always on hand.
Facilities were as described and our stay was enjoyed fully by all. We would have no hesitation in booking this hotel again. A big thanks to all the staff for making our stay enjoyable.
