We liked that we were right on the beach front close to everything but just far enough away from the noise. Hosts very friendly.Dont be put off by the fact that the car park is round the corner ( 5 mins walk)unless you have trouble with your legs. You can park the car outside to unload your cases.

We had a warm welcome from Sue who shown us to our room which was beautiful and very spacious, it had everything to cover every needs including little touches such as large bottle of water, wine glasses, toiletries in the en-suite, box of tissues and well stocked hot drinks sachets with biscuits, We felt spoilt and it was like being in a honeymoon

I stayed here for 4 nights just this weekend from my brother's
recommendation. Sue and Graham are friendly and make you feel very
welcome. The room was lovely, with a shower room, a tv, a kettle with
hot drink sachets/milk and a glass bottle of water with 2 glasses. A
welcome book was also provided. Breakfast every morning between 8.30-
9.30 was very good. A choice of fresh fruit salad, greek yogurt, honey,
cereal and fruit juice to start and then Sue asks you for tea or coffee

Staff exceptionally friendly, called ahead before we arrived and we were allowed to check in early, which was a welcome relief. Rooms were exceptionally clean, airy and modern. Well designed and functional. Bathrooms were very clean. Hospitality tray was very well stocked. Breakfast was excellent and catered very well for all tastes and a two year old. The owner, Tony, was very friendly and the room was lovely despite not having a sea-view.
The breakfasts were tasty and well cooked if having a full English. There were a range of other options if that was not to your taste.

Very pleasant stay here, the food is excellent, although the menu was set you could have it anyway you wanted so very helpful and the staff are all very friendly. The room was clean and tidy with everything you need. Fantastic location too. Everything is so well run and the owners are really lovely and helpful. -

Good location near the town and beach.
Stayed 3 nights and although in a residential area it was quiet every night.
Good breakfast and extra's e.g. cereals, yoghurts, fruit and offered as much toast as we wanted.
The owner was lovely and had a good balance of being helpful, without being overpowering.

The best thing about Philbeach Hotel was it felt like being at home. The deocr was not dated it was very modern without it being stuffy which is a big bonus when staying at a hotel, you want to feel comfortable and able to relax it did just that. The breakfast is made on request and was very nice, i had two young children with me and they were both accomodated for which is rare. Very satisfied cusomer.

The location is great, right on the sea front with all amenities close by. Transport for various destinations close by. Boat trips available. Very clean beach, good quality of water, great for children. Fish and chips to die for. Hotel lovely, Great breakfast, room comfortable, Large bathroom. Would definitely stay again. Huge antique emporium just opened by the harbour and all the shops you need and more. Great place for a break.
