However the reception staff were marvellously kind and welcoming and gave us a complimentary tray of tea in the lounge. When it became clear that there would be a further delay, we were switched to another room immediately. I am full of praise for the reception staff.

A very warm welcome. Would stay again and tell family and friends howgood it was. The breakfast was very good. Paul and lorraine made youfill right at home - Lovely friendly couple running the hotel. Good facilities. 5 minutes walk from the Riviera Leisure Centre where I was attending a function.

The hotel was excellent and certainly lived up to it's description and reviews. Marion and Les (the owners) were very welcoming (the pot of tea on arrival was very much appreciated). The hotel is great and you feel right at home in a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast room was very pleasant and the breakfast was excellent. We couldn't have asked for more. Good location, close to Torquay centre had parking facilities at rear of hotel and parking at front of hotel which was very good as difficult to park in Torquay centre. Very clean rooms with everything that is needed. The dining room and lounge were very comfortable. The breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of variety. Tea and coffee offered in abundance. The staff (dean and Richard) were fantastic and made me and my partner feel right at home straight away- and the room was literally as it was on the picture, it was lovely and clean and nicely decorated. Our room wasn't too big, but we had an en suite ( which is always nice) and a king size bed. The hotel wasn't far from town ( just a short walk away) and dean and Richard were very informative about the change of route (they were diversions due to builders etc) also, the breakfast we had in the
