I loved everything about my stay at Sylvern House, The owner was so friendly and helpful from start to end. Breakfast was amazing 3 courses and it was so filling and made me and my girlfriend ready for the day ahead! Neither of us had any problem with our room or any other part of the stay. Fantastic breakfast which was cooked to order as given a menu sheet to choose options the night before. Informative folder in the room full of useful information about the local area such as directions, things to do and restaurants etc. Well stocked tea tray in room and owners very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

My cousin and I stayed 3 nights at the Wharncliffe and we loved everything we encountered - the proprietors were lovely, and their keenness when it came to security was a plus. There was ample choice of both hot and cold items in the delicious breakfasts. Everything had been chosen discerningly from the quality of the sausages and jams to the welcoming sweets/chocolates in the rooms on the hospitality tray. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable with superb views over the sea.

staff were helpful and friendly, hotel was very clean including rooms and modern with all you needed in them. room 108 has double and a single bed, sea view and very lovely inside. breakfast was excellent and served to your table, good location for sea view, short 10 min walk to bus stops for town and other areas. good value for money, a nice 3 star hotel and would go back. me, my 5 year old daughter and my mother stayed 3 nights, pools is great as has a shallow bit for kids, bit cool but ok

The Grainary is a working farm, with a B&B on the side, so if you like the atmosphere of a farm, off on the edge of the moors, you'll love it. Children are especially well catered for, as they have every imaginable farm animal in the fields near the house, plus dogs, rabbits, a ferret and certainly one or two I've missed. the staff were very welcoming and accommodating for myself and my boyfriend. We are a young couple and simply had a short weekend break. It was perfect for location and a short walk to everything. I was originally put off by reviews I had read on the Delmont, but please don't let it put you off. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely go back. Breakfast was great and prompt service :)

This is a spotlessly clean, friendly guest house. Towels were huge and fluffy and changed three times during our five night stay, lovely clean bedding too. Ian and Sue were wonderful hosts - anything you want to know about Scarborough just ask - they know everything. The breakfasts were amazing. We will definately stay here again. -

I particularly liked the sea view room we had, it certainly lived up to expectations. Elaine and Tony, the owners, were a very friendly couple, they took their business seriously, but in a fun way. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing, the best we've had in an English B&B!! Freshly cooked to order and hot!
