the staff were very friendly and imformative,very clean hotel,i will be back to stay again in the future - The friendliness of staff,the willingness of staff to assist with things like ordering taxis to arranging an ironing board.

The fact that my partner and i did not make it for breakfast after a rather late night an although check out time was stated at 10am, the staff left us till 12 ish ( much appreciated ) - Nice clean rooms, look as if they have recently been re decorated.

clean,comfortable beds & plenty hot water, all needed after a long car trip from Edinburgh & some stops,Falkirk Wheel, Loch Lomond etc.
Breakfast Buffet was very good, everything there you could ask for, including haggis, black pudding I had long ago told my kids & grandkids about, They loved it! -

The friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble for any one of them.Even my dogs were welcome. Excellent choice of meals and very wellpresented. We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recomendit to anyone. X - Wonderfull room and bathroom, there was a jacuzzi and a big shower box. Very clean and the staff very gentle. Beautiful setting, beautiful house, beautiful breakfast! There's a lodge more or less at the end of the drive that does lovely food and you can drink the night away there and talk to the locals while they spin you a story or two! Followed by a sing song! This has to be one of the best values for family lodging in the Loch Lommond area!! We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in the self catering cottage. With 2 bedrooms, one with a double and single upstairs and another downstairs with a bunk bed set, this cottage easily accommodates a family or group of 5 people. It has a kitchen and a living/ dining area with a table that 4 can comfortably sit at for meals. The Londis grocery store is an easy 5 minute walk away and if you prefer a meal out

James & Nelly the propietors, are the most welcoming and warm people that I have encountered in a long time.
Nelly is bubbly and full of energy, James -, a little more laid back but very affable.
They compliment each other well.

advice. Reasonable B&B rates included excellent Scottish breakfast,
great value. Evening meals simple, tasty and wholesome taken in the bar
lounge with an open fire. Sky Sports channel meant we saw the Masters
golf - a bonus! Really enjoyed our stay over two nights. Would
definitely come back.

What is not to like ?
The staff make you so welcome as soon as you walk through the door Meals are to my taste, beds are comfortable everything worked.
We have stayed at the Rob Roy many times and recomended our friends to stay. willbe back on Sept with a party of 30 to 40 for 4 nights Kind regards

My mum and I went to surprise relatives who were on a tour from Nuneaton. Staff participated in the surprise and we had a lovely evening/night at the hotel.
The hotel is very old however, I was pleasantly surprised how clean everything was.
We had a bar meal which was plentiful and good value. Breakfast was excellent.

Although only staying for one night all staff were courteous and very friendly. Room was spotless and bed so comfortable. Breakfast was excellent too. - Staff here extremely helpful and courteous. Service was prompt. Rooms were spotless and the beds and pillows comfortable.

hotel molto bello, in una splendida posizione, peccato esserci stati solo una notte, con tutti i confort, camera ampia anche per quattro persone, staff impeccabile - pulizia, disponibilità, ambienti piacevoli e curati. Buono il ristorante annesso.

I loved the atmosphere and decor with all the history of the school. Theroom was very comfortable. We were visiting our daughter in stirling asshe has had a baby we hope to return - Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. restaurant food very good.
