I liked everything really. It was quiet, so I was able to sleep right through the night, which isn't always possible in hotels. The service was excellent, staff friendly, polite and helpful. Wonderful countryside, and convenient for Lampeter and the coastal village of Aberaeron. I will definitely return. -

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Five star treatment from down to earth, approachable people. Situation of hotel was beautiful - Owners were very pleasant and helpful. Food was superb as was the local beer!

On arrival we were delighted to be told of our upgrade to a beautiful suite and escorted by the receptionist. My husband went to reception to report a faulty fan in the room. The staff were very helpful and friendly. On arrival they upgraded me from a standard room to the Dinefwr Suite - the best room in the hotel! The suite was very luxurious - a huge bed with a lovely view down the valley - a huge bathroom - I couldn't fault it. The perfect retreat for a romantic break - just a shame I was on business! Breakfast was cooked fresh to order and service was extremely quick given that the hotel was full.

Location is excellent, very calm and peacefull, really in the country, surrounded by forest. Our room (burgundy) was beautiful, well designed and very large, and the beds very confortable. Our host was really nice and welcoming, and on our arrival we were offered coffee/tea and welsh cakes.
Good breakfast too !
Everything in the place is calling you to relax and is of very high-quality standard. We really would have liked to be able to stay more.

The atmosphere when you arrive is friendly, even though they were hosting the local school fete in their garden. Staff always friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much for them to do.
Food excellent with local produce and fish caught daily. All meals cooked whilst you wait with generous portions.
Rooms very comfortable with genuine features as this inn was a farmhouse about 200 years ago.
Will be going back for another stay next summer and would happily recommend this inn.
There is plenty to do and see within about a 25 minute drive. Scenery magnificent.

The owner was super helpful.
He gave us plenty of recommendations on things to do. The breakfast was excellent and he'll make almost anything you would like. Location was nice. Only a short walk from the centre of town. Rooms were well presented and he has plans to renovated this whole place.
He has deals with local restaurants for money off.
