We loved the warm welcome on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for the guest house owner Carey - we had fresh milk and water brought to our room every evening and even left us wine glasses and brandy glasses! it was a joy to stay here in such beautiful countryside in such a lovely house. We looked forward to our cooked breakfast every morning which was yummy! we will be going back.

This was the second time staying at this hotel. The owners are friendly and courteous and the facilities are what you would expect of a hotel with a much higher star rating. Staff are Fantastic and Friendly Always and are very children friendly at all times
Most of the food is Good, Fish is excellent and Breakfast is also excellent and service is very good considering the volume of customers and amount of covers being served. Waiting times for food at peak times can be 60 minutes so dont wait

The atmosphere of the very cosy bar and restaurant - old world with open
fire. The upstairs Boathouse restaurant has views across the cove and we
had dinner watching the sun set. The food was wonderful, the staff were
very friendly and efficient. The view and sound of the sea from our
room. The location is brilliant for walking the coast path to beautiful
bays, and only 15 minutes drive to Salcombe. The village of Hope Cove is
really pretty and quiet, with a very small Post Office stores.

Staff were very professional, friendly & attentive providing an excellent service. Food was very good but perhaps a little expensive. Lovely location with spectacular views. New leisure facilities at the hotel (gym, sauna etc) will be great when finished. The pool is fantastic.
