We had the absolute best experience at the London Visitors Hotel. It is a beautiful building, lovingly remodeled. Our room was plenty big for 3 adults and an 11 year old. The staff was absolutely amazing, very kind and attentive. I had to take a trip to the ER and the staff called a taxi for us, offered to make me chamomile tea while we waited, and was genuinely worried. You don't find that kind of concern everywhere! But if you're looking for an affordable and clean place with a wonderful staff, you won't be disappointed here! Mo at the reception is a really nice guy. We arrived early and he still made sure our room was available for us ASAP. We had a double room which was very nice and clean. The hostel had a lift which was amazing after spending a lot of time lugging bags up many flights of stairs.

The staff was incrediblly nice, everyone was very helpful and polite. There are bus stops in front of the building, the Rotherhithe underground station less than 10 minutes away, it's located in a residential zone so it's a very quiet and safe place. I had previously read a review that said it was scary to walk from the underground station to the hostel, but let me tell you even though it's mostly a desserted area at the late hours of night, it's very safe, so don't worry about that. Good yet quiet location in a lively area near to good tube links.
Clean, comfortable bed and accommodation with reasonable facilities for storing food, cooking, washing clothes etc. Wasn't cold weather but heating seemed adequate.
Friendly, helpful, unobtrusive front desk staff.
Good enough for us to consider staying here again next time. -

I love the size of the rooms and each time we have been the rooms have been spotlessly clean. The staff are all great - very helpful and polite - especially the lady who checked us in!! The kitchen facilities are good and it is great to have a fridge. Location is brill for central London. I can't fault this hotel. I love it. -

Ottima zona per i trasporti sia dall'aereoporto con la vicinanza a Victoria Station che poi per muoversi a londra grazie al comodissimo autobus 24 con fermata proprio di fronte all'uscita dell'hotel che porta nelle principali piazze del centro di londra.
